  • This is not what our culture is about. And that's not even close to wat this chant is talking about. PA'I KOU PO'O!!!

  • the 'lyrics' are not even a rough approximation of their intention. our kupuna are not smiling down upon this act... a'ole pono

  • As a Hawaiian practitioner and decendent of Puna. I think this is weird. I would never post something ceremonial on this venue. It's a bit egotistical and that is not what our culture is about. It's not appropriate along with the mispronunciation of the words which could mean, something totally different. I also know this to be done as a hula and not an `oli.

    Kapaleina - pronunciation Kapalena etc....

  • Thats gotta be the cleanest enunciation chanting I ever heard, and I heard'um since

    hunna-buttuh daze to present,45-years!

  • This Tongue of Fire is bowing in homage to the Power of Pele & all the Feminine energies emerging in honor of the preservation of Mother Earth and all her beings. May the Splendor & Beauty of the Great Pele embolden you with the courage to "Let the Beauty You Love be What You Do." - Rumi
