Ok!!! we can spend all day discuss about this but remember we weren't born with experiences sometime is good to learn it on the Field even when you actually go to school for it . Wyclef is an Haitians Citizen. He has his right and also the fact he lived in America is A + he won't be Caught up into the corruption mind frame. He knows what it takes to become successful. He can used the same discipline into politics. He's used his popularity on his advantage very good. i pretty sure he'll do fine

Are you serious? Yes I agree we aren't born w/ experience. However, I wouldn't go to a plastic surgeon who never went to medical school. There are some things in life that experience is appreciated. Presidency falls under that category.

You see, you, like most people are being over shadowed by is fame. Look past Wycelf the musician and look at Wyclef the person.

@spngbbndbynd Unfortunately Fame is all Mr. wyclef as to offer Haiti. So it is important he continues to be an Idol that represents Haiti from abroad.. Because in the Long run Wyclef will be as infamous as the word Papa Doc. I am an artist as such one of the philosophies I live by. Is to be a procreator and record History specially of Haiti in a positive aspect. Mr. Jean's is acting on emotions not the reality of incapability to run for the Presidency of Haiti. OBAMA never had any political experience!! i'm pretty sure you remember what he was before he became the president of the US and also, Wyclef is a millionaire and never change his Nationality respect the Man. @adfpresentation Did you just say "Obama" never had political experience before being president? Sir, you're an informed individual. Please read up on Obama. He was the governor of the state of Illinois before he was president And FYI most, if not all, presidents are governors before they are president.
And are you also telling me Wyclef is a perfect candidate b/c He's proud to be Haitian? I'm proud to be Haitian. I never once hid the fact that I'm Haitian. Can I run for president?

You're Haitian American you had visited Haiti in several occasions but you didn't actually grew up in Haiti. I did!!! Haiti needs new fresh Air, new ideas from a new generation of people i m sick of those old fart who didn't do nothing for Haiti. Wyclef may not meet the political criteria for presidency but ask yourself the one who actually did they ever done something for Haiti!! we been suffer for so long is time for a change and don't compare Haiti to America it's different

@adfpresentation You know who else frequently visits Haiti but doesn't live there? Wyclef Jean. He hasn't lived in the country since he was 9. Do you think he's in touch w/ the climate of Haitian politics? I don't.
Also, if previous Haitian presidents were not qualified, don't you think it's time to have someone who is fill the position? This is a crucial time for Haiti. I would want the best person for the job. But according to you, my opinion doesn't matter since I've never lived in Haiti.

I think it's just a rumor that spin out of control... Wyclef's name will never even make it on the ballot. Just like there's rules and regulations for becoming an American president, there are rules to being a Haitian president.... and lets just say, he doesn't have the most basic qualifications.
