  • @Namdoog01 Thanks for that information! I looked for the lyrics of this song, couldn't find any online & so attempted a transcription from another YT before I saw this one. As a means of sharing info about this part of African American culture & American culture, I posted this & other lyrics and videos on my Cocojams site. Google Cocojams American banjo & fiddle songs. Yes, I know this version isn't a banjo/fiddle song. Still it's such a gem that i wanted to help people know about it.
