I was fortunate enough to be about 5 years old when this series came out on PBS, I remember watching it as often as I could. My parents loved it because not only was it educational, and I was fascinated by what I was learning, but because Sagan's voice is so soothing that I would often fall asleep on the sofa.
This should be required material for early elementary school children to watch if we want to improve education, there is just so much important information in thes series.

This would be to controversial for the American public school system. Kind of ironic in a sense, Sagan is being repressed just like the thinkers before him.

Thank you for posting this. Carl Sagan is very missed but his legacy of understanding and relating the words of who we are will live on.
