I was surprised when I found the melody to "Gone now, the love and laughter・・・" is the same as James Last's original version. I wonder why the Elvis Presley's version has the different melody to these lyrics・・・.
@ynjlky7121 yes, it is strange that Elvis did not sing the original melody in the "gone now ..." part. I prefer the original melody, as James wrote it and Daliah sings it ... cheers, Silvia
By any chance do you have any English songs from the albums Jerusalem , Daliah or any other. I used to have them on LPs which are long gone!!. Thanks anyway

Die deutsche Version "Du" ist auf der LP "Meine Art Liebe zu zeigen" ist auch sehr schön - aber genauso wenig auf Best-of-CDs zu finden. Sehr schade .....
