I have to tell partner, this is the norm. The rule that needs to change is that a man should have equal custody which at the same time would result in equal child support. Then we can prove what we all know is the truth, women are having these kids for the sole purpose of financial support for themselves. My ex disappeared to South Carolina with my child and as a reward I get to pay 730 a month and it's all legal.

My socal daugther dropped out of school, and is working off the books, I've been paying this socal Childsupport payments for a good 18 1/2 years "my socal daugther is 19 y'o and a parent and works off the books", ----why off the books---"Why not pay taxes", Is just to proof to the courts, BY HER MOTHER. that my socal daugther is still living with her, just to collect childsupport. And the Jugde knows this.

Those are the part that hurts me.

You mean a mother can have custody of a child without her having a job? Why does the father have to support the child financially but the mother does not? She can't work a job because she has to stay home and take care of the child? But if the man pays child support, the court should order the mother to work a job and pay for daycare, just to be fair to both parties -- right?

I don't know about the United States Law Bro, But if she has A court order that you see your child certain day's and you do not get her, She may be in contempt of A court order. Everyone falls on hard times, I lost my job and was sent to jail for 3 months for non payment.

I am sorry about what is going on with you. Is it somebody you can go to or can u get a lawyer on your side? Pray about the situation and put it in God's hand. I can't stand females who don't let a man see their child but the 1st ones in court wants child support. I think if a man pays child support he should be able to see his child. If that women is so big and bad and don't let that child have any contact with their father, that father shouldn't pay support for a person they can't see.

I want you to know that I am proud of you to try and step to the plate and be a father. Most men are dodging the responsibility. I spend more than 10k a year on my son daycare is 5K a year at least or more and then there are the other necessities he needs. I take care of all on my own with no government assistance. Hopefully everything works out with your son. You are trying to do the right thing and this lady is crazy

If you have court ordered visitation and she has not let you see your child then she is violating a court order. My advice is for you to go on the offensive. Since it is court ordered when she "blocks" you in whatever way, go to the police station, with court order in hand, and ask them to intervene. This is the beginning of your paper trail. After it is done several times, try and get a date in family court. Do NOT remain silent! Any father advocate groups in your area?

i feel for you and i understand your pain cause my fiance is going through the same thing just consider yourself lucky you don't have to pay for a child who is not yours and the courts won't do a damn thing about it. keep fighting it

our men are just letting things happen to them and just grit and bearing it....I even told one of my friends who is going through the same thing that he needs to fight the system when his baby mother is doing things or something changes where your child support should change LET THE COURTS KNOW!! There are a lot of grimey bitter women out here who use their children as leverage to get back at these men...Good luck to you! I hope things go in your favor!

I'm going through a similar situation. I haven't been proven to be the father yet (Maury type shit) but when I brought up a "Blood Test" the bitch went Incognito!

He's 10 months & I've only seen him a couple times because she'd rather play games than let me step up to the plate!

I get tired of these females talking shit about men not wanting to take care of his child. The truth is, "I would love to care for my child, I just don't wanna care for her!"

Reading this make me glad I don't have kids. But I did and this was going on, I'd be the first thing smoking down the court house to show that the mother IS NOT following the visitation part of the support order. Stuff like this should prompt MANY fathers to really fight for fathers rights big time. Not to mention that this whole situation will backfire on the mother in the long-run.

.....and to say that kids don't cost 10,000 a year is something that someone who doesn't have to take care of kids would say. You would be surprised by how much the little things add up. It's not cheap! In my opinion if ur not willing to provide 20% for a child that is half of you, you were not ready to have kids. And apparently, since ur child's mother wants to mentally damage ur son by keeping him from u, she REALLY wasn't ready to have kids.

Okay, I really feel for u not being able to see ur son and I think she is dead wrong. Not for what she's doing to u, because I don't know both sides of the story, but what she's doing to ur child. If she was a real mother she would know that it's healthier for kids to have BOTH parents in their lives.. However....I strongly disagree with the statement that a woman should have to work to get child support when being a parent IS work. A job which offers no benefits, breaks, or vacation time......

He has a few good points 2 b honest ! but to up root a child and take custody to avoid paying child support seems wrong to me ? would you have seeked custody if there was no childsupport case against you ? i doubt it very much , your motive to taking this action should be done with a clear mind as it will further go to affect your son if you removed him away from his main carer ? to spite her or to dodge c.support, the mother needs to grow up ! and let you see your son more without a price tag

It's your fault just like it's hers. If you weren't planning on marrying her you shouldn't have even touched her in the first place. This is why I'm not for casual sex. Too many diseases out here and even with protection you can never be too sure.

wow your son is so lucky to have a dad like you. I am on both ends of the stick I am a non custodial parent and I have a child w a man that doesn't do anything and makes money. It's unfortunate but the CSEA are not supportive of men. There are men who want to be in their childs lives. There are men who have custody of their children and raise them but we as a society dont hear of this often.

The support is for the CHILD not the mother its called child support not mother support...yeah some ppl take advantage of the situation for example ppl with disabilities and what not..BUT its meant to the well being of the child ....I think the government is cracking down on the men..because they what Americans to be more PRO family instead of single family's..in the old days more family's use to stick together, so there was no need for high child support..but times have changed...

something needs to be done as far as child support goes. yes child support should be allowed but the custody and rights part especially needs to be adressed. women do have alot of control that they shouldnt have if the man is in the childs life.
