  • brave, funny and well made :)

  • This is a wonderful parody. I hope more people watch it. Great job Dan!

  • WOW I like that. Made me laugh even if its the truth and really it isnt funny. The truth isnt funny that is.

  • Very funny, wonderful parody.

  • this is so true!

  • Good one, friend.

  • Thanks!

    So, what's your story? dh

  • just livin' and writin' in these weird times of ours. Should have more tunes on the ways. I've hit a drought of videos but it sure ain't due to a lack of inspiration, ie crazy stuff to write about. At least Palin ain't in the picture. That would have been catastrophic!!! needless to say really. What about you?

  • Thank you Dan, thank you ndguy! See you on the 28th!

  • Dan-tanna — way to go!

Have you sent this to Congress?

  • Actually, I was in DC last week, talking to Congress--but the conversation was limited to dignified topics. dh

  • Excellent! Nice work!

  • Thanks! it's been fun. Please share it with others if you feel inclined. I appreciate the help in going viral. That's a collective effort, of course.

Thanks again, and best wishes. dh

  • Very catchy, Dan!!!!!!

  • "It worked for FDR"??? Is there a world war available to get in to that nobody told me about?

  • FDR spent millions on home domestic programs throughout the war, including day care for women in the factories, health care for military families at home and abroad, education programs for training military staff, plus that very famous thing called the GI Bill.

WWII was massive government spending, often on domestic programs.

  • You are right on target. FDR's massive spending prolonged the depression. With Hoover's massive tax increases and FDR's massive spending it is no wonder it took over a decade to recover. Shame to see it happen again. What do they say about those who do not learn from history? Anyone who believes FDR brought an end to the depression through Keynsian economics needs to read "The Forgotten Man" and get informed.
