How do you get adventurecraft?

in the beginning, there were two furnaces stacked on top of each other and you pressed the upper one, when it awas the lower one that you put it in. Notice how the furnace burns, but when you press it the burning "animation" (or whatever i should call it) is gone

so far adventure craft looks like something that can be added whit a minor mod, ie like when typeing /mode in a game and switch from god mode to survival mode or so on, exept removes interaction whit blocks and gives you another hand to put (passive) stuff into / (passive - interact whit door).. shouldnt be to hard to make just a regular switch from.... so not shure why its released as a totaly new game under minecraft?
