some of the saddest moments for me were: auron's and tidus' death in 10, zack's death in crisis core, sephiroth's betrayl in crisis core. the reason for sephiroth is because, when you play the game you become too attacted to sephiroth and you know his betrayl is coming but you don't want to lose him

@0rangeFlamingo How can you call 7 overrated? It defined RPGs in its generation and revolutionized the genre. Sounds like we got ourselves either a hater or a fanboy, maybe both. FFX is a great game, but so is FFVII. If FFVII got remade with HD graphics and voice overs it would blow FFX out of the water i'm sure. lol

@VoreTechz1985 I feel like just because FF7 was the first of the series to come out on the the PS and it blew everybody's mind with the graphics and on screen death. Don't get me wrong the story was really good, but as a whole it wasn't the greatest. FF7 is just hyped up too much. There are far better FF games out there. Like 9, it was freaking amazing! Just my thoughts on that.

@MizzMeme2006 FF7 was more original and innovative then 9 was. 9 came out 3 years later and still it brought nothing new to the genre. Face it, FF7 did things that still haven't been topped by even todays FF's. The materia system was amazing. Even 8 was more innovative then 9 with the GF system. 10 had the sphere grid. 9 was bland. Its only redeeming factor was its victorian artistic style and fantastic soundtrack like in all FF's. People like 9 cause it was the last good old school RPG.

@VoreTechz1985 And that would be the same reason why people like 10, it was the first to bring the voice acting and improved graphics. Regardless, it seems that people like 7 and 10 because it brought the new things, therefore people continue to hope that the games in between will live up to that.

Thank god for that, FF7 was so hyped up because it was the first Final Fantasy on the PS console, and it was a milestone graphics wise. I think X is the perfect choice for a re-make, ESPECIALLY considering it's their 10th anniversary :D
