I have seen this homosexual on several different occasions at these protests. It is obvious that he is trying to break the law and encourage others to do so. Also it appears that he is supporting treasonous acts against the United States and its people. This individual should be watched closely and reported if using him working around any public facilities.
There is a simply way to end terror attacks on the U.S. The U.S. government must stop killing Muslims. For example, the U.S. government has been killing Iraqis since 1990 which is over 20 year. No Iraqi has hurt even one single American within the 50 states. Now that you know how to end terror attacks against the U.S., we can use the trillions of dollars to help the people in the U.S.
The United States is not unique in wanting to conquer and rule the world and, it won't be the last country with its eyes on controlling and rulling other nations eg China, so what you gonna do!

@TheFlameoftheWest because al awlaki (one of the leaders of al-qaeda) dined at the pentagon a few days after 9/11. the bodies of the terrorists were incinerated but their passports made it to the ground, 1535ºC (2795ºF) - melting point of iron
1510ºC (2750ºF) - melting point of typical structural steel
825ºC (1517ºF) - maximum temperature of hydrocarbon fires burning in the atmosphere without pressurization or pre-heating (premixed fuel and air - blue flame)

I don't agree with you that we were attacked on 911 for any other reasonthan that radical Islam wants to get rid of infidels. Radical Islam simply wants all non-muslims converted or destroyed. So no, I don't beleive that 911 had anything to do with "manifest destiny".
I knew a guy who talked about writing a book called *When Hitler was American*. I suggested the subtite Manifest Destiny vs. *Mein Kamf* But getting arrested is iffy, and I do not agree with that sort of disruption.
I'd love to listen to you spout your rhetoric about anti-militarism when some country is invading your home, and killing those like you simply because you spoke out.
@BioHunter1990 And when a ultra rightwing government comes to arrest you, just for a being a little too different, know that they will be none left to help you sir.
waste of your time, waste of police time, waste of taxpayers' money, waste of youtube, waste of internet traffic
what do you want? pull out of Afghanistan? Tomorrow all sort of religious numb-nuts will be encouraging more numb-nuts claiming "America lost". Pull out of Iraq? Civil war and everybody will blame US, more numb-nuts will be trying to blow something in the US. Lybia? US is part of coalition, French, British, Arabs are involved too.
@wildbestia Wait, wait, wait... you're talking about a "waste of taxpayers' money" in reference to this protest?? You've gotta be brain-dead to not understand how many hundreds of BILLIONS OF FUCKING DOLLARS we spent on these USELESS FUCKING WARS!! Either Iraq has the resources to protect itself from civil war by now, or our presence there has been useless this whole time that we've been there, and we haven't helped them one bit to establish sovereignty. We haven't sent ground troops to Lybia.
@seanotube85 So? You are saying just because Bush wasted billions of dollars in this stupid war in Iraq we should go and waste more? Is that what you are saying?
@wildbestia You're talking massively different scales there. A few million vs. hundreds of billions. See the difference? And not one casualty from our forces. We're pretty much done there anyways. If you can't understand the difference there, I really don't know what to tell you.
@seanotube85 So you are saying that if somebody wasted a lot of tax payer money, then much smaller waste is OK? Is that what you are saying? If you can't understand my sarcasm, then I don't know what to tell you. Waste is waste. Imagine what's gonna happen if everybody to make a point will go and try to get arrested. What's gonna happen?
@wildbestia What I'm saying is, we should STOP wasting that fuck ton of money on wars that are leading us into MASSIVE debt! How hard is this for you to comprehend?? Wow! Please remove your head from your ass, you will hear a whole lot better. And you're a goddamn fool if you think these people were "trying to get arrested." The intention was simply to drop flowers on a fucking memorial, and those storm troopers wouldn't even allow that. THAT is why they sat down, you hapless moron.
@seanotube85 Are you fuckin stupid? Just watch this video again from the beginnging: "The reason i'm here in beautiful March day is to stand in front of White House and get arrested" :) Whatta moron you are, beyond recognition. Do you understand English or what? So, yes, he was trying to get arrested you moron. - HE SAID THAT.
@wildbestia Okay, whoops. Got you mixed up with a douchebag from another video. My bad. But if you think that getting arrested for protesting on public property is a waste of taxpayer money, I think you should know that we are wasting way, way, WAY more money on useless wars that we should not have gotten ourselves into in the first place, and it's about fucking time we pulled out.
@seanotube85 I know we are wasting a lot of money on the war we shouldn't have started. So? We can't pull out now. That's it. We are gonna stay there for 10-20 years. Heck, we even have troops stationed in fuckin Germany. You can't pull out of war like that. If we pull out - then it will be civil war there, then Iran, Syria will get mixed up. Then they will involve Israel, then all other Arab nations. Then they will blow some shit up and we will get back to war, but now much bigger war.
@wildbestia Not only can we pull out now, we have to pull out now if we don't want our economy to cave and sink the foundation of our country. Our military might is only as important as what it is there to protect.
That's another thing, we have troops all over the world. We are spending so much money on our useless presence all over the world when we don't even use them for anything! If we shifted the money from wars in the middle east to building alternative energy sources, our power would become far greater than it is right now. Think of the hundreds of billions of dollars spent on military might being re-directed towards space solar power, geo-thermal power, and wind energy. We wouldn't need oil!
@seanotube85 of course just being arrested is not "waste of money", but intentionally being arrested is a provocation and must be punished.
But regardless. All the protests are pointless. Iraq is not Vietnam. We are in deep-deep-deep shit there. What do these protesters propose? It's easy just to go and "protest". Yay, protest, peace, no war, bla-bla-bla.. I want to hear one solution that I would believe it would work and I would be the first protesting and kicking and screaming.
The reason your there is because your into wasting time.....No one cares. Big deal you called the police and said your coming to get arrested. Hardly putting your "body" on the line.. What a joke of a "protest"...
Yeah pretty cool, doesn't look like "Mr. President's" house is the peoples' house to me thru its huge steel fence & the phalanx of cops surrounding it.
Don't agree totally with the 9/11 blowback idea tho, it's a bit more complex than that, those Moslem crazies who crashed those jets were & r operating on their own internal logic & motivation, & not just in relation to the USA's actions
I can't BELIEVE that they arrest people for only standing on the sidewalks with signs! What's "illegal" with that? Daniel Ellsberg turned around, gave the peace sign wearing a suit, and then handcuffs were applied. VERY STRANGE! DEMOCRACY? NOT! POLICE STATE? Unfortunately, yes.
Why did you ask them to stop taping when you were arrested? Is that against some recent fascist law, too?
I am not afraid of the terrorists taking our freedoms from us it is the government that passes laws that would take our freedom from us the terrorist hits ever now and then but the policeman kills people every day I mean innocent people that who I'm afraid of it takes law enforcement to have a police state most policemen would love to kill and to arrest innocent people and put them in gas chambers that's a type terrorist I'm afraid of not some rag head
You know when people say that both parties are owned by corporations and talk about the illusion of choice I sort of go into denial, but when you think about it, what did the voters choose when they elected Obama? They they chose to stop the wars, they chose guantanamo closed and they chose a healthcare reform. And what they got was next to nothing. Politics either doesn't want to or is incapable of giving people what they chose. Is that still a democracy?
We were attecked because the powers that be, that attacked us, wanted to steal our man-power and money for 21st century imperialism. Stop fucking around already and say what it is - 9/11 was an inside job! THERE IS NO ESCAPE FROM THAT WITH ALL THE INFORMATION RIGHT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS ON YOUTUBE - Watch those 3 buildings fall again with the understanding of controlled implosions and free-fall speed. Where is the plane or damage from it at the Pentagon(pentagram)? Just watch and believe your eyes
Wish the Tea Party types and these types shown in this video could find common ground and make a massive movement to end these undeclared illegal WARS
you really should have brought a buddy to film. honestly though i dont see them running out of space or places to put you. as long as people are letting themselves be arrested for whats supposedly a right nothing will happen isnt that the time your supposed to act? when your voice carries no weight?pick up something that does... but i imagine when the crowd gets bigger itll be tear gas and orders to disburse or, since they can, maybe theyll just take and lock you up till crowds stop showing up
I went to the protest yesterday in Columbus Ohio, It was sad only 50ppl showed up. The worse part is we are in worse shape than Wisconsin and no one cares. We are losing the battle in Ohio :(
@psychokillercrab Start another one. Create posters all around the city for it, Facebook it and advertise for it. Chances are that it simply didn't get enough attention for most people to know it was happening.
@psychokillercrab I know it can be discouraging, but don't give up! Remember that people have lives, can get busy or simply might not understand its importance and thus have less passion than you.
If you do a protest often enough, then you'll gain more and more supporters. :) Hand out fliers at the protests, talk to people and encourage them to debate you! Start your own protest group in your town that focuses on issues to protest! Keep trying and be creative!
The federal income tax is extortion of the worse kind, it uses our money to kill people. Collectively we are responsible for the bloodshed. Isn't that a drag?
Its funny seeing the republicans are suddenly anti war, this one we were asked to come in by the people who were being hunted down like rats. I guess they just can't stand helping their fellow man in any way.
we need some one who can end free trade and put a tighter grip on wallstreet without seeling out there views as soon as they get into office, fight corporate oil we need public oil
The reason the fed has to print more mony in the first place is because of the hording of the money at the top, without taxing it, it never needs to be passed back down to keep the economy flowing.
You voted for him now deal with it. The only thing you acomplished is getting arrested. The irony of it all is Obama the messiah who would bring peace with hope and change just thrust us foward into another undeclared war. Great work.
I'm not sure why you would think they are better.
Quite simply, the redistribution of wealth through income tax and government sanctioned progressivism has led us directly where we are today.
The mantra... THROW MONEY AT THE PROBLEM. Tell me something. How has that improved our lot in this world pertaining to education? Tell me how the War on Poverty has ended poverty? War on Homelessness? Or what about the Drug War?
@katey1dog It is necessary to redistribute wealth towards the bottom, otherwise it inevitably move towards the top. Right wing free market economics is destroying the middle class. Important social programs like social security (so the elderly and sick do not live in poverty), single payer healthcare (so medial costs don't bankrupt people), and other social programs, are the only way to create a strong middle class and ensure a piece of the American dream for hard working individuals.
@MNICY It is necessary to redistribute wealth towards the bottom
Again, how has that improved our lot? Throwing money at the poor as an attempt to boost their social status is insane. What happens is the wealth accumulated by those that have earned it, including the middle class, have their wealth taken by force of government.
A true instance of "government sanctioned progressivism."
@katey1dog How is paying the medical bills of a hard working member of society so he does not go bankrupt from medical bills insane? It seems like the only logical thing to do. What would you rather have happen? Too sick to contribute to society, and then show up at the hospital when he is about to die and have the taxpayers pay for expensive emergency treatment anyway? THAT seems insane.
Wealth does not 'trickle down'. That is a myth. Social programs create the middle class.
@MNICY How is paying the medical bills of a hard working member of society so he does not go bankrupt from medical bills insane?
Simple. Medical prices have continued to rise with the advent of medical science and technology. And with medical industry advancing over conventional industry, the middle class has no capability to afford medical care.
We are forced to use national healthcare. Which coincidentally, I'm in favor of. I think it is our governments mandate.
@MNICY Wealth does not 'trickle down'. That is a myth. Social programs create the middle class.
I don't know how you involved "trickle down", since I haven't mentioned it.
Social programs have not, since the NEW DEAL and GREAT SOCIETY, improved society or the middle class. What creates the middle class is industry created by the private sector. Government creates nothing but taxation and prisons.
Again, where are we today since the NEW DEAL and the GREAT SOCIETY?
@MNICY lmao no overtaxing and over spending is doing that. Social programs are created from the middle class not the other way around. You liberals are way too funny.
@MNICY Right wing free market economics is destroying the middle class.
No, government taxation of industry and income has forced the deployment of American Industry to China. Radically changing the American standard of American wealth accumulation. Forcing Americans to accept service positions selling Chinese made, American products. That brings down the amount of money earned by the American working man and woman.
Trickle Down Economics doesn't work and never will you retard. As long as there is cheaper labor in other countries big business will continue to outsource there regardless of taxation.
Do you really thing some mega corporation is going to be like "Hey the government gave us major tax cuts! Lets hire American workers so we make less profit!"
Redistributing the wealth downwards may not be the solution but redistributing it upwards at an even greater rate sure as FUCK isn't.
@MNICY Ok, so your position is simply "fuck the working people" then?
No, that is the position of the Bush/Obama administration. Actually that began with the Wilson administration and finally put into FULL effect by the Nixon administration.
@katey1dog So then answer my question. What is your justification for allowing the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer? That is what capitalism does. Do you really think that if we removed all taxes, corporations would suddenly think its a better deal to pay Americans $4 an hour then to pay some person in a third world country 12 cents per week?
The problem is not taxation, it is immoral corporations sucking the wealth out of the country.
@XxUrSoLoStxX That is not an argument. I have had liberal economic positions way before I ever heard of TYT. In fact, I actually think TYT is centrist.
Do you have an actual counterargument against my position?
@MNICY they are centrist and thats why cenk is still kind of a republican he just sees how crazy they have gotten so he has no choise but to be a liberal/democrat and they basically stick to the facts and cenk even admits to being in the exact center
@XxUrSoLoStxX its not possible to watch to much TYT because thats the facts just google them the bases of the trickled down system is dont tax corps the corps arent being taxed right now so where are the jobs
@MNICY So then answer my question. What is your justification for allowing the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer?
Taxation. The Income Tax is uniquely suited. It's filled with tax loopholes that only benefit the Super Rich. And while the rich pay fewer taxes, the middle class can NOT compete. Since the middle class has more accumulated money than the super rich. Well, NOT ANY MORE.
@katey1dog I am all for closing tax loopholes. In fact, I support lower taxes for the middle class and higher taxes for the superrich. But I don't think Ron Paul will do this.. He will lower taxes on the superrich. While I agree with him on several issues (especially social ones).
I think society has a moral duty to provide a basic social safety net for its members. I also think this has to be paid for, and that the place to get this money is from the superrich.
@MNICY I am all for closing tax loopholes. In fact, I support lower taxes for the middle class and higher taxes for the superrich.
Well, I'm all for going a full three steps further. I'm for ENDING the Income Tax, Ending the Federal Reserve, and Ending the Wars.
But I don't think Ron Paul will do this...
YOU THING OBAMA WILL? Because when he's not "cutting taxes" he's in FAVOR of bailing out the LARGEST BANKS IN THE COUNTRY, EXPANDING THE WARS, AND STARTING A NEW ON IN LIBYA!
@MNICY But if end the income tax, then you cant pay for very much. The government needs funds to function. I am for balanced budgets.
The govenment can find funds beyond that of an income tax. Afterall, there's only so much government can do. Yes, government can make jobs, but none of those jobs create revenue nor product. It produces taxation. Taxation that the Middle Class can no longer afford since it is dead. Since the government still needs funding, it goes to PRINTING instead.
@MNICY I can understand that. However, what Ron Paul is saying is that he is cutting huge amounts of government spending. He wants a non-intervention military, so he'll withdraw all the overseas troops. That's billions already saved. He wants hemp legalized and States to get to dictate marijuana legalization. That's billions from hemp legalization & millions for the States + the billions saved on the drug war, elimination of the DEA, etc.
@MNICY I think the scary part of Ron Paul's policies for most people is that it is so different from what America has now that nobody really knows what to expect in terms of realistic results. I've been working with a research team.
Ron Paul's policies are a pet project of ours and we're working on breaking them down in regards to their pros and cons. It's too early to say what this will look like in the end, but we're hoping to turn it into a 8 video series to be released in 2012.
problems are larger than that. There is no way to pay off the debt. There is vastly more debt than there is money. They government and economy will collapse. Its a matter of what we do after that. Will you keep thinking inside the box, or try something different?
Society might have a moral duty, but not a constitutional one. How moral is it to steal from someone, even if its for a good cause? If you steal from the "superrich" you will destroy jobs that the "superrich" create, then you will need to steal from the somewhat rich to pay for the newly unemployed, then when that destroys more jobs, you will find yourself with no more people to steal from and a very poor society indeed.
@katey1dog Err, no... There are problems with the US government yes... I would change many things. I don't support many wars, I think social programs should be paid for not borrowed for...
But corporations are outsourcing all on their own.
Exactly what light am I seeing?
Also, whoever is flagging katey1dog's posts as spam, please stop.
@katey1dog The United States has tons of wealth. The problem is that it is in the hands of the superrich. Companies that outsource to China or other countries are unpatriotic; they care more about the bottom line than their country.
@XxUrSoLoStxX Currency is not the same as wealth. The United States has tons of natural resources, and many many people capable of doing work. This is wealth.
The reason why it seems poor is that the superrich control the majority of the wealth, instead of the people.
Tons of wealth? Tons? Have you been hiding under a rock since the Bush Administration? We're in a Depression, sir. A Depression caused by borrowing, taxation, bailouts, and the Federal Reserve printing money when taxation isn't an option. Our currency has been devalued (cheapened) to such a degree as the existing industries (food and oil) must raise their prices.
@katey1dog Currency is not the same as wealth. Of course I know the American economy is doing terribly. That does not change the fact that the United States has natural resources, which are hard wealth. I am surprised someone who supports Ron Paul would not be able to see this.
Just because capitalism is failing does not mean the country is poor.
:-/ Currency in our national framework, is the basis for our wealth. Money that is worth it's weight in commoditees balance. One full dollar should purchase an equal balance in food and fuel. Now, when the Federal Reserve prints money, not backed by commoditees, it devalues currency. Grossly expanding the price of food and fuel.
@katey1dog Right, in the capitalist system currency represents wealth. But just because capitalism is broken does not make the wealth it represents dissapear. Just because the dollar is worth nothing does not mean that the massive amounts of food, wood, minerals, etc that the United States is capable of producing is gone.
@katey1dog I'm not learning, I know exactly what my position is. It is your position that I find confusing. Why should a few superrich people control the vast majority of the wealth? How do you justify that? Does a CEO really deserve magnitudes more in pay then a lowly worker? That is what is meant by wealth being redistributed to the top. Taxation is the way that government equalizes this disparity. And I am wondering how you can morally justify this, without appealing to trickle down.
@MNICY Why should a few superrich people control the vast majority of the wealth? How do you justify that?
I'm not justifying that. Although, the history of humanity does in fact make the case that the few will have wealth over the many. That doesn't change. Not even in nations that have used Communism as their mode of governance.
Taxation is the way that government equalizes this disparity.
Government does not have the RIGHT nor AUTHORITY to do that. That creates disparity.
@katey1dog there are already no taxes on corporations so where are the job? and if you dont believe there are no taxes on corps then watch this /watch?v=HndIsnCNnrY
@kazooga1234 there are already no taxes on corporations so where are the job?
China. Where are the jobs Obama promised? Oh, government jobs which create more taxation and borrowing.
Government does not produce revenue. The Private Sector produces jobs, creating jobs, which produces revenue which the people enjoy. Which of course, the government taxes to send our jobs to China, goes to war against third world nations, prints our money into uselessness, and of course builds prisons.
@katey1 well you are saying if we do more tax cuts on the corps that there will be jobs and there are no more taxes on the corps and we still dont have the jobs and obama did get some jobs when he did the stimulus bill but the problem was the stimulus bill wasnt big enough government does produce revenue though things like stimulus bills and if the private sector creates jobs then why arent they giving them because they have all the money they can afford to hire people there arent any taxes so

what do you want? pull out of Afghanistan? Tomorrow all sort of religious numb-nuts will be encouraging more numb-nuts claiming "America lost". Pull out of Iraq? Civil war and everybody will blame US, more numb-nuts will be trying to blow something in the US. Lybia? US is part of coalition, French, British, Arabs are involved too.
What do you propose?

wildbestia 11 months ago
@wildbestia Wait, wait, wait... you're talking about a "waste of taxpayers' money" in reference to this protest?? You've gotta be brain-dead to not understand how many hundreds of BILLIONS OF FUCKING DOLLARS we spent on these USELESS FUCKING WARS!! Either Iraq has the resources to protect itself from civil war by now, or our presence there has been useless this whole time that we've been there, and we haven't helped them one bit to establish sovereignty. We haven't sent ground troops to Lybia.
seanotube85 11 months ago
@seanotube85 So? You are saying just because Bush wasted billions of dollars in this stupid war in Iraq we should go and waste more? Is that what you are saying?
wildbestia 11 months ago
@wildbestia You're talking massively different scales there. A few million vs. hundreds of billions. See the difference? And not one casualty from our forces. We're pretty much done there anyways. If you can't understand the difference there, I really don't know what to tell you.
seanotube85 11 months ago
@seanotube85 So you are saying that if somebody wasted a lot of tax payer money, then much smaller waste is OK? Is that what you are saying? If you can't understand my sarcasm, then I don't know what to tell you. Waste is waste. Imagine what's gonna happen if everybody to make a point will go and try to get arrested. What's gonna happen?
wildbestia 11 months ago
@wildbestia What I'm saying is, we should STOP wasting that fuck ton of money on wars that are leading us into MASSIVE debt! How hard is this for you to comprehend?? Wow! Please remove your head from your ass, you will hear a whole lot better. And you're a goddamn fool if you think these people were "trying to get arrested." The intention was simply to drop flowers on a fucking memorial, and those storm troopers wouldn't even allow that. THAT is why they sat down, you hapless moron.
seanotube85 11 months ago
@seanotube85 Are you fuckin stupid? Just watch this video again from the beginnging: "The reason i'm here in beautiful March day is to stand in front of White House and get arrested" :) Whatta moron you are, beyond recognition. Do you understand English or what? So, yes, he was trying to get arrested you moron. - HE SAID THAT.
wildbestia 11 months ago
@wildbestia Okay, whoops. Got you mixed up with a douchebag from another video. My bad. But if you think that getting arrested for protesting on public property is a waste of taxpayer money, I think you should know that we are wasting way, way, WAY more money on useless wars that we should not have gotten ourselves into in the first place, and it's about fucking time we pulled out.
seanotube85 11 months ago
@seanotube85 I know we are wasting a lot of money on the war we shouldn't have started. So? We can't pull out now. That's it. We are gonna stay there for 10-20 years. Heck, we even have troops stationed in fuckin Germany. You can't pull out of war like that. If we pull out - then it will be civil war there, then Iran, Syria will get mixed up. Then they will involve Israel, then all other Arab nations. Then they will blow some shit up and we will get back to war, but now much bigger war.
wildbestia 11 months ago
@wildbestia Not only can we pull out now, we have to pull out now if we don't want our economy to cave and sink the foundation of our country. Our military might is only as important as what it is there to protect.
seanotube85 11 months ago
That's another thing, we have troops all over the world. We are spending so much money on our useless presence all over the world when we don't even use them for anything! If we shifted the money from wars in the middle east to building alternative energy sources, our power would become far greater than it is right now. Think of the hundreds of billions of dollars spent on military might being re-directed towards space solar power, geo-thermal power, and wind energy. We wouldn't need oil!
seanotube85 11 months ago
@seanotube85 of course just being arrested is not "waste of money", but intentionally being arrested is a provocation and must be punished.
But regardless. All the protests are pointless. Iraq is not Vietnam. We are in deep-deep-deep shit there. What do these protesters propose? It's easy just to go and "protest". Yay, protest, peace, no war, bla-bla-bla.. I want to hear one solution that I would believe it would work and I would be the first protesting and kicking and screaming.

Why did you ask them to stop taping when you were arrested? Is that against some recent fascist law, too?

You know when people say that both parties are owned by corporations and talk about the illusion of choice I sort of go into denial, but when you think about it, what did the voters choose when they elected Obama? They they chose to stop the wars, they chose guantanamo closed and they chose a healthcare reform. And what they got was next to nothing. Politics either doesn't want to or is incapable of giving people what they chose. Is that still a democracy?

Ron Paul 2012
Who are you going to choose? Barak Bush? Not Nailin' Palin, not Huckleberry, or Rotney.
katey1dog 11 months ago 7
@katey1dog not a libertarian. Right wing economics are almost as bad as right wing social policies. I'm not sure why you would think they are better.
MNICY 11 months ago
@MNICY
Or what about the Drug War?
katey1dog 11 months ago
@katey1dog It is necessary to redistribute wealth towards the bottom, otherwise it inevitably move towards the top. Right wing free market economics is destroying the middle class. Important social programs like social security (so the elderly and sick do not live in poverty), single payer healthcare (so medial costs don't bankrupt people), and other social programs, are the only way to create a strong middle class and ensure a piece of the American dream for hard working individuals.
Ron Paul
MNICY 11 months ago
@MNICY It is necessary to redistribute wealth towards the bottom
Again, how has that improved our lot? Throwing money at the poor as an attempt to boost their social status is insane. What happens is the wealth accumulated by those that have earned it, including the middle class, have their wealth taken by force of government.
A true instance of "government sanctioned progressivism."
katey1dog 11 months ago
@katey1dog How is paying the medical bills of a hard working member of society so he does not go bankrupt from medical bills insane? It seems like the only logical thing to do. What would you rather have happen? Too sick to contribute to society, and then show up at the hospital when he is about to die and have the taxpayers pay for expensive emergency treatment anyway? THAT seems insane.
Wealth does not 'trickle down'. That is a myth. Social programs create the middle class.
MNICY 11 months ago
@MNICY lmao
XxUrSoLoStxX 11 months ago
@MNICY How is paying the medical bills of a hard working member of society so he does not go bankrupt from medical bills insane?
Simple. Medical prices have continued to rise with the advent of medical science and technology. And with medical industry advancing over conventional industry, the middle class has no capability to afford medical care.
We are forced to use national healthcare. Which coincidentally, I'm in favor of. I think it is our governments mandate.
katey1dog 11 months ago
@MNICY Wealth does not 'trickle down'. That is a myth. Social programs create the middle class.
I don't know how you involved "trickle down", since I haven't mentioned it.
Social programs have not, since the NEW DEAL and GREAT SOCIETY, improved society or the middle class. What creates the middle class is industry created by the private sector. Government creates nothing but taxation and prisons.
Again, where are we today since the NEW DEAL and the GREAT SOCIETY?
katey1dog 11 months ago

@MNICY Right wing free market economics is destroying the middle class.
No, government taxation of industry and income has forced the deployment of American Industry to China. Radically changing the American standard of American wealth accumulation. Forcing Americans to accept service positions selling Chinese made, American products. That brings down the amount of money earned by the American working man and woman.
katey1dog 11 months ago
@katey1dog
Shadowlit001 11 months ago
@Shadowlit001 Trickle Down Economics doesn't work and never will you retard.
Who is talking about Trickle Down? I haven't mentioned it nor have I implied it.
katey1dog 11 months ago
@katey1dog Ok, so your position is simply "fuck the working people" then?
Trickle down is the only moral justification I can see for cutting social programs. And given that it does not work, it is a terrible justification.
If you don't believe in trickle down, then how to you morally justify making the rich richer on the backs of the poor?
MNICY 11 months ago
@MNICY Ok, so your position is simply "fuck the working people" then?
No, that is the position of the Bush/Obama administration. Actually that began with the Wilson administration and finally put into FULL effect by the Nixon administration.
katey1dog 11 months ago
@katey1dog So then answer my question. What is your justification for allowing the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer? That is what capitalism does. Do you really think that if we removed all taxes, corporations would suddenly think its a better deal to pay Americans $4 an hour then to pay some person in a third world country 12 cents per week?
The problem is not taxation, it is immoral corporations sucking the wealth out of the country.

MNICY 11 months ago
@MNICY i believe i already answered your agument.
XxUrSoLoStxX 11 months ago
@MNICY they are centrist and thats why cenk is still kind of a republican he just sees how crazy they have gotten so he has no choise but to be a liberal/democrat and they basically stick to the facts and cenk even admits to being in the exact center
kazooga1234 11 months ago
@XxUrSoLoStxX its not possible to watch to much TYT because thats the facts just google them the bases of the trickled down system is dont tax corps the corps arent being taxed right now so where are the jobs
kazooga1234 11 months ago
@MNICY So then answer my question. What is your justification for allowing the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer?
Taxation. The Income Tax is uniquely suited. It's filled with tax loopholes that only benefit the Super Rich. And while the rich pay fewer taxes, the middle class can NOT compete. Since the middle class has more accumulated money than the super rich. Well, NOT ANY MORE.
That is what capitalism does.
No, that is what our government has done.
katey1dog 11 months ago
@katey1dog I am all for closing tax loopholes. In fact, I support lower taxes for the middle class and higher taxes for the superrich. But I don't think Ron Paul will do this.. He will lower taxes on the superrich. While I agree with him on several issues (especially social ones).
I think society has a moral duty to provide a basic social safety net for its members. I also think this has to be paid for, and that the place to get this money is from the superrich.
MNICY 11 months ago
@MNICY I am all for closing tax loopholes. In fact, I support lower taxes for the middle class and higher taxes for the superrich.
Well, I'm all for going a full three steps further. I'm for ENDING the Income Tax, Ending the Federal Reserve, and Ending the Wars.
But I don't think Ron Paul will do this...
YOU THING OBAMA WILL? Because when he's not "cutting taxes" he's in FAVOR of bailing out the LARGEST BANKS IN THE COUNTRY, EXPANDING THE WARS, AND STARTING A NEW ON IN LIBYA!
katey1dog 11 months ago
@katey1dog I don't think Obama will, he is way too right wing.
But if end the income tax, then you cant pay for very much. The government needs funds to function. I am for balanced budgets.
I don't think reducing funds from taxes is the way to go when the country has so much debt, which is why I think voting for Ron Paul is crazy.
Taxes on the middle class should be cut, tax loopholes should be closed, and taxes on the rich should be raised.
MNICY 11 months ago 7
@MNICY But if end the income tax, then you cant pay for very much. The government needs funds to function. I am for balanced budgets.
The govenment can find funds beyond that of an income tax. Afterall, there's only so much government can do. Yes, government can make jobs, but none of those jobs create revenue nor product. It produces taxation. Taxation that the Middle Class can no longer afford since it is dead. Since the government still needs funding, it goes to PRINTING instead.
katey1dog 11 months ago
@MNICY I can understand that. However, what Ron Paul is saying is that he is cutting huge amounts of government spending. He wants a non-intervention military, so he'll withdraw all the overseas troops. That's billions already saved. He wants hemp legalized and States to get to dictate marijuana legalization. That's billions from hemp legalization & millions for the States + the billions saved on the drug war, elimination of the DEA, etc.
His policies end up working the numbers out.
GrowTheTruth 11 months ago
@MNICY I think the scary part of Ron Paul's policies for most people is that it is so different from what America has now that nobody really knows what to expect in terms of realistic results. I've been working with a research team.
Ron Paul's policies are a pet project of ours and we're working on breaking them down in regards to their pros and cons. It's too early to say what this will look like in the end, but we're hoping to turn it into a 8 video series to be released in 2012.
GrowTheTruth 11 months ago
@MNICY
problems are larger than that. There is no way to pay off the debt. There is vastly more debt than there is money. They government and economy will collapse. Its a matter of what we do after that. Will you keep thinking inside the box, or try something different?
mrkurt13 11 months ago
@MNICY
Ron Paul 2012!

I think you are beginning to see the light!
katey1dog 11 months ago
@katey1dog Err, no... There are problems with the US government yes... I would change many things. I don't support many wars, I think social programs should be paid for not borrowed for...
But corporations are outsourcing all on their own.

MNICY 11 months ago
@MNICY There are problems with the US government yes...
Of course. The government is too big. And big government does not produce anything but taxes, prisons, and wars.
War is a social program. Created by governments through taxation. It employs millions. In soldiers and sailors and the Military Industrial Complex.
katey1dog 11 months ago
@katey1dog The United States has tons of wealth. The problem is that it is in the hands of the superrich. Companies that outsource to China or other countries are unpatriotic; they care more about the bottom line than their country.
MNICY 11 months ago
@MNICY tons of wealth? A failing currency isn't what i would call wealth.
XxUrSoLoStxX 11 months ago
@XxUrSoLoStxX Currency is not the same as wealth. The United States has tons of natural resources, and many many people capable of doing work. This is wealth.
The reason why it seems poor is that the superrich control the majority of the wealth, instead of the people.
MNICY 11 months ago
@MNICY assets and resources don't exactly make you wealthy unless someone is willing to pay for it.
XxUrSoLoStxX 11 months ago
@MNICY The United States has tons of wealth.
Tons of wealth? Tons? Have you been hiding under a rock since the Bush Administration? We're in a Depression, sir. A Depression caused by borrowing, taxation, bailouts, and the Federal Reserve printing money when taxation isn't an option. Our currency has been devalued (cheapened) to such a degree as the existing industries (food and oil) must raise their prices.
katey1dog 11 months ago
@katey1dog Currency is not the same as wealth. Of course I know the American economy is doing terribly. That does not change the fact that the United States has natural resources, which are hard wealth. I am surprised someone who supports Ron Paul would not be able to see this.
Just because capitalism is failing does not mean the country is poor.
MNICY 11 months ago
@MNICY Currency is not the same as wealth.
:-/ Currency in our national framework, is the basis for our wealth. Money that is worth it's weight in commoditees balance. One full dollar should purchase an equal balance in food and fuel. Now, when the Federal Reserve prints money, not backed by commoditees, it devalues currency. Grossly expanding the price of food and fuel.
katey1dog 11 months ago
@katey1dog Right, in the capitalist system currency represents wealth. But just because capitalism is broken does not make the wealth it represents dissapear. Just because the dollar is worth nothing does not mean that the massive amounts of food, wood, minerals, etc that the United States is capable of producing is gone.
It still exists, currency or no currency.
MNICY 11 months ago
@MNICY That does not change the fact that the United States has natural resources, which are hard wealth.
Commoditees! YES. But our currency is not based on hard wealth, it's based on debt. You're learning!
