I can see why the ref called goaltender interference. If he was tripped and fell and slide into the goalie no call but the fact that he started falling right when he got to theodore is why the ref called it. In my opinion, and i do ref, I think he could have gotten his feet back under him they are professionals and have been hit in the skates a lot worse than that and are able to stay up.

clearly was a penalty, i dont care if at the last second he fell or not. you shouldnt skate full speed into a goalie. that wouldnt fly in the mid 90s or earlier. you wouldve gotten filled regardless of how good you were, you did something dumb back then you got knocked out, now you get a 2 min penalty. goalies need to be protected as the cant skate around freely and have limited mobility in their gear.

It's hard to tell. He was hit in the skates with the stick when he was on a sharp angle, so you could rule that as tripping. But then again, you have to look at how far away the guy is, how big he is, and a tiny hit like that, most likely wouldn't have tripped him up. It did look like he decided to trip when he got close to the goalie though.

Borderline interference he waited too long to cut in, there was no trip as he's far too strong to consider that weak stick check enough to knock him down. In the end he made too tight a cut that's why he fell. You can't say that if the stick check didn't happen he wouldn't have hit the goalie. He was definitely going to hit him regardless of Poti or not.

whats hilarious is that whenever the team ur routing for falls down from contact u want a penalty.All the good calls refs make are expected and are not praised, but all the bad ones are put on youtube saying that the ref is horrible.
