The dog is quartering, as a springer should be taught to do, and when it catches a scent its pursues it. And there is nothing wrong with an e-collar, it is an incredibly valuable tool when used properly.

@berndogish No problem Bernie, just stating it how it is. Your dog looks like a great worker with tons of drive, you have a real winner. Im training my first springer right now, he's 9 months old and it has been a blast working with him. He is already great on birds and has a good desire to learn. Not quite as steady as Rocky yet but im sure we will get there sometime! keep up the good work! It would be great to get out for a hunt sometime!

not good for me i think the dog has a electric collar on and that dog is not really hunting just charging left and right and to far out . Search FTCH Buccleuch pepper then you will see how a spaniel sound really work
