i was a little disapointed in this book. i felt it left off in the middle of the story. usually wen i read these books, i closed them after the last page, and felt like i just got done reading a great story, and couldnt wait to get to the next (even after reading the series a number of times). and dont get me wrong, i did like the story, but feel that its not finished. hopefully TG thinks the same, and decides to continue it even further? or maybe i missed something?

HAHAHA Terry you are something else. For those of you folks who do not know Terry rejected the fantasy genre years ago before "finishing" his SOT series. After Confessor he claimed never to write in that world or fantasy again. Law of Nines was his next big project breaking out of the confines of fantasy and SOT, yet that book obviously played off SOT and fantasy which he denounced and now he returns to a "richard & kahlan novel". Goodkind do you even sleep at night or are you that delusional?

How so? "Machine" could mean any number of things. I'm of the opinion that omen machine is a metaphor which represents the origination of prophecy. Although, we wont know until its out...
