  • god i rem this 13 when it came out love the jazz vibe they got brings back some great mems

  • at long last

  • simply awesome.. brings back memories

  • A classic!

  • same voice as Plan B :)

  • Great year 1977 was in Britain, such contrasts, stuff like this and David Soul going up against the new punk rock phenomenom and as a 13 year old I could accommodate both without prejudice. Never known a year like it since.

  • I'm glad I was able to figure out what song this was. It was in the opening of a song by Cities Aviv, and I loved how it sounded. The entire thing is even better than I expected. (:

  • Brings back a complicated, fantastic, bittersweet, summer romance. Wonder where he is now?

  • This wasn't 1976, it was the summer of 77. I was 13 years old then and it was a great summer - lots of fun! Oh to be 13 again!

  • I love this song. It may be much older than 17 year old me but I really love it. Much better than most modern songs.

  • MY NAME IS LORI

  • What a charming song. Very McCartney-ish.

  • 1977 holiday in Zoetermeer, Holland, beautiful song, beautiful dutch girls, beautiful country.

  • I thought this came out in 77?. Anyway it brings back Summer in England when I was 15

  • @keddw I think you are right. Sex Pistols were at the top of the charts with "God Save The Queen" at the same time in The UK

  • @gizzytiersen and they are both perfect songs

  • @keddw It was 1977 (in the UK) you are right

  • Twins????

  • This was the pop sound that made all my mum's jazz records relevant to me as a nine year old! Fabulous memories!

  • Love it

  • I use to love this when I was a little girl still do .. so happy, romantic and just far gone days ....

  • @Harveytaylor700

    Sure harvey (;

  • I am 73 but love this song so much..it brings back memories from so long time ago ;0))

  • @amanyttap Back when hotdogs cost a nickel?

  • How come I don't know this song?? I grew up on Long Island and was 15 when this came out? I'm so surprised that I've never heard it, AND my name is Laurie (close enough) . . . what's up with this??

  • Cheesy....bicycle.....Dutch!

  • 76!!!!!!!!! still a nice sound.

  • Great hair !!!!

  • I have been following and really enjoying Barnaby Bye and the Alessi Brothers since the release of Barnaby Bye 1st album. I feel that they should have made it much bigger at least in the US & Canada and then in many other countries.

Bobby & Billy, You make great music !!!

  • One of my guilty pleasures (and there were many) from '77 when this song came out---I was 9. It's all about the great harmonies these brothers produced not to mention teen idol looks! Along with "Afternoon Delight" from Starland Vocal Band in '76, this stuck to my neurons to this day.

It's no wonder these guys continued on writing jingles---they certainly excel at it.

    Totally cool----totally!

  • ow I think that is lovely...your wife must love it!... I love this song so much...fills me with happiness...I was 11 too when this was out....always wanted someone to sing it to me :-)

  • I was 11 then.

    I wanted their cut haha!!

Instead I play this song now on the guitar with my wife....:)

  • wow , it takes me back , i reckon mica would do a great version of this,

    lovely song

  • Love the comment about feeling young again listening to this. It's true. Modern music is the poorer for not having room for stuff like this. I feel like crying listening to this. Probably nostalgia.

  • God, I wanted their hair!! I think they made me a little Gay, well, it was 1976- everybody was a little gay that year......

  • J'aime beaucoup cette chanson elle passait en France

  • I love Alessi Brothers. I love the sound of their voices, so unique. Their songs bring back fond memories from the 70s.

  • thanks fritz51302... brings back good old memories... feeling young... still...
