I have always had a great respect for the Z06...amazingly light and a brilliant engine...but I have an E55 Renntech Stage 1 and it makes me giggle every time I drive it...My gut instinct is that it isn't as fast as the Z06 due to weight, but the beauty is when you are on the street, no one sees it coming...destroyed a Z convertible and S2000 this afternoon...they never saw it coming...we also have an Elise, and the E55 is in another solar system in a straight line...truly amazing.
Times were NOT shown in this race bc the Z06 street races, and does not want his 1/4 to be known. There were two races, one in each lane, of which the Z06 was given the break each time. My E55 is stage 2 496 at wheel, 585 at crank. Best 1/4 time was 11.04 with a tail wind! I advise you to think twice before running that Benz, next time you pull up to the light!

I have always had a great respect for the Z06...amazingly light and a brilliant engine...but I have an E55 Renntech Stage 1 and it makes me giggle every time I drive it...My gut instinct is that it isn't as fast as the Z06 due to weight, but the beauty is when you are on the street, no one sees it coming...destroyed a Z convertible and S2000 this afternoon...they never saw it coming...we also have an Elise, and the E55 is in another solar system in a straight line...truly amazing.

Times were NOT shown in this race bc the Z06 street races, and does not want his 1/4 to be known. There were two races, one in each lane, of which the Z06 was given the break each time. My E55 is stage 2 496 at wheel, 585 at crank. Best 1/4 time was 11.04 with a tail wind! I advise you to think twice before running that Benz, next time you pull up to the light!
