  • These are Innovation Universal.. Anyway I bet this was originally hand operated.

  • @dieselducy I would have loved to see the original elevators in that building.

  • @RubberDogProductions Yes - they are suspended by steel cables.

  • Thumbs up if you would hit all the buttons, xD!

  • Why do you film elevators?

  • @DaveGoodeNC Because I can.

  • @DaveGoodeNC Because He can.. Why are you such a douch Dave?? You have one posted video and your the 'im gonna make videos' guy?? Why don't you make something original.... At least these people are making videos of things of interest. no matter how ignorant your brain is at understanding that, you will always fail to see the positive side of anything on YouTube.

  • i've stayed there a few years ago. it's a nice historic hotel but the elevators are LOUD!!

  • I think they should have more glass elevator those are the best ones

  • These are not Epco buttons they are Innovation Universal Buttons.B1 is for Staff only.

  • @mdbv25 I know - I didn't know as much about fixtures at the time.

  • lol pushem all

  • ボタン多いw

  • Wait a minute. There's a floor 13 in Chicago?

  • LL is actually Lobby Level.

  • What was making that sound on the lobby level at the end of the video?

  • The have these in the Penn Tower in Philadelphia.

  • Maybe 21 is a maintenence floor or electrical floor.

  • Fist time i've seen Innovation Universal fixtures on an OTIS, they are usually on KONE's and Montgomery's.

  • 2:11 scary wind sound

  • It's the Ghost of Elevators past. It's just trying to beat up the Ghost of Elevator Modernization.

  • woot floor 13 on a hotel

  • what was the capacity?

  • 6people

  • These look like Innovation fixtures.

  • That is a fast elevator!

  • You traveled 24 floors in 36 seconds.

Did someone get on at floor 18 on the down trip? I did not see anybody press the '4' button. Floor 4 is a little squeaky.

  • Someone did get on at 18.

  • THATS WHAT SHE SAID VERY SMALL

  • I love the sound of a large Otis traction elevator lobby. It always seems to have that whirring sound, especially on the lowest floor.

  • Theres a 13th floor? Thats unusual for a hotel.

  • why?

  • I was thinking the exact same thing. That's funny

  • whys it unusual?

  • Very nice elevator, tad small though. Very cool the the B1 button had the word staff on it.

  • I KNOW LIKE TOTALY FUCKN AMAXING!

  • Too bad they replaced the buttons with Innovation Universal... I bet those originally had the Otis fingertip buttons.

  • Why did you skip level B1? Why do you not want to go to the basement?

  • I was short on time.

  • Why did you choose not to tour the basement?

  • what was the other two elevators that you didn't film

the lobby sounds a little scary

  • I think LL stood for Lobby Level like at the Marriot Marquis.

  • nice, there is a floor 13

  • When Was It Built?

  • 1924

  • Orignal elevator?

  • No.

  • so the entire car got replaced

  • Reminds me of the historical elevators at One King West.

  • No - these ones were much, much smaller.

  • What's so bad about floor 21?

  • The indicator is dumb.

  • Nothing. It is probably just a service floor.

  • Actually those are Innovation Universal fixtures, but they look so much like the Epco Circleline buttons.
