trust me bud i live in kansas the track looks much different in person its actually a lot steeper and it keeps all the bank through the straights but it got it name a long time ago when banking wasnt really previlent in dirt track racing and most racing was done on a flat track
I was at Belleville the year that Jeff Gordon won. We also ran the race a few years back with a VW. Not the engine of choice for that place. I wish we had our Ford car then. Great track, great race. I would love to get back there some time.
rob klepper is my uncle, back when he was clays crew cheif, those were the days, wish i could see more of these races....SC sucks for racing, unless u wanna go for a 3 hour drive for a gay stock car race :(
Great move be Coons, part of the reason he was Midget driver of the year that year. I love to see the dive bomb to the bottom and the slide all the way up. Hell yeah.
I long for the days when the two biggest races were the Indy 500 and the Hutt Hundred. Long live the High banks, Knoxville, Eldora, and all the other great dirt tracks. THIS is REAL RACING!
Why does Speed show this all the time but couldn't even keep the rights to ALMS and the WC?
