@AllanSanches It'll be cheap to find now, so yeah I'd say pick it up. It doesn;t have much reply value but for what it is, its decent.

I can only imagine how great it might have been online though if it was for 360.

@FireDragonKaryu Bought it, I played a few races only, didn't have spare time to play it seriously yet, I like the game, I have the ps2 version and looks beautiful for ps2 standards. I have a question thoght, is this game too easy? Theres a hard mode after beating or something? The few races I played were easy, I heard theres a code to make the oponnents more violent and stuff.

@AllanSanches the races do get harder as you go up in leauges, cars get faster and races longer. difficulty I say probably rises a little but not too much especially since by the end you should in tune with your fave cars handling etc.

There is a "hard mode" league after finishing the game. At least in the Wii version, I don't think the PS2 version should be any different.

does anyone else think the Mach 6 is slow inthis game? I cant go very fast, only at 340-360 in class 3.. also i can never stay in first for more than like 30 seconds. If you dont know what i mean, watch 2:00-2:10, that happenes to me every 10 seconds when im not in first, they slipstream me, slingshot past, andi cant get close enough to slipstream them cause im too slow, also slipstreaming doesn't work in the mach 6 cause its so slow even if you can do it, u dont pass them.

@AmericanEAGLE40 Speed is not everything in this game, and I use the Mach 6 for its blend of acceleration and handling. I completed every race in the game with it. just find what "your" car is and stick with it.

The trick is tactics. If you can keep a steady stream of boosts coming (say level 1 and 2 boosts) you can keep your lead for a substantial time.

However the game has "rubberband" AI meaning they will ALWAYS close the gap. Keep striking them for boost and bust tricks on jumps.

I always make sure to keep at least one boost, as they are also used for healing your car.

I do go into "the zone" though and I use them for speed boosting quite a bit in races.

What do you mean, 'Make it look good?' Do you not like it or something, because you're giving the impression that you think it's not good, but this video makes it look good. Oh, and the way you say 'DAMN!!' makes it sound like you don't WANT it to look good. Nope.

Speed pads, boost gradually fills and makes 4 boosts. health gain (by using some of your boost)

Other than that its just you and your car which I like. Mario kart online is annoying due to its luck factor with power ups.

Yes, you'll notice in the video I actually attack by using them. Do a backflip behind someone to throw them with the cars nose for example, or land on them doing a flip.

On some jumps I do corkscrews.
