My first Cantering LESSON

nice first time i cantered i nearly fell off lol but i was on a pony tht had a short stride and yeah and yes the reins should be tightened a bit but the bit is really severe if you put tooo much pressure on if u hav a simple dring snaffle yes you would want a tighter rein hut with a curb no

I remember my first cantering lesson, it was hard. Cantering for the first time round is very difficult when you're only used to trotting. So, it's mean to say what she was doing wrong.

It was actually pretty good for a first canter.

@Biebersgirlz123 It is the best thing ever! I have cantered 5 times and I LOVE it! If you don't have very good balance or you have a horse who decides to make it hard for you, you might fall.:P Remember, but in the saddle. Unless you are in 2-point (which is the BEST)

This was my very first time cantering without a lunge line. Its my SECOND time cantering. Stop saying what I was doing wrong please. I mean Im not going to track you down and kill you if you do but I KNOW. I am NOTHING like this anymore. I dont even ride here anymore. If you want to see how I am now just look at horseobsessed97 or this account. Which is my newest. I still use horseobsessed97 sometimes though.

@ everyone who is saying she should have shortened her reins, notice that the bit in the horses' mouth is a curb, not a snaffle. It's not meant for direct contact. Yes, the reins shouldn't have been flopping about so much, as far as a curb bit goes, less is more.

Shorten the reigns... If you were using an English bridle.... But your not, just keep your heals down . You were better than my first I ... Fell

@GobbyGabby1234 She doesn't need to shorten her reins, the horse is wearing a western bridle- if she shortens the reins to a proper length the horse won't be able to go forwards!
