I thought this was something to do with a very great video game . I was very wrong, its yet another cookie cutter excuse for a metal band . The labels sure do churn out the crap these days . A heavy similar band is A Different Breed Of Killer and From The Shallows. They arent fake heavy like suicide silence. These guys along with Shadow of the Colossus are true heavy bands

@ModestCasanovaa Dude last time I checked screamo isn't mainstream. Katy Perry, Eminem, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, etc. is mainstream. Screamo, metalcore, deathcore, etc., though with a large fan base, is miniscule in comparison to the fan bases of the artists I mentioned above. You're lucky to hear 1 song out of 100 on the radio half as heavy as this. I don't know what you were expecting. Video game or not, I have a hard time imagining an R&B group naming themselves "Shadow of the Colossus"...

@ModestCasanovaa I can't speak for everyone but I know that I legitimately DO like this type of music. I got into it on my own. Not everyone is a follower as you may have me believe. And I don't like everything my friends like, in fact most of my friends music tastes differ from mine completely. And yes that IS an opinion. Anything can be made into music, ANYTHING. There's a lot of artists and styles out there I don't prefer, either, but I still recognize them as music because they are.

People are allowed to have their own musical opinions and just because this type of music isn't the most appreciated doesn't mean that it isn't good and that it is somehow wrong.
