Guys, I hate to break it to you, but conservatives are not funny. Don't feel bad. You're not supposed to be funny. Colbert tried to run as a Republican, but he couldn't pay $35000 to get on the ballot. The fee to get on as a Democrat was less than a tenth of that, $2500. I guess they just didn't want to make the joke about Bush being a fake Texan and Guiliani and Romney being fake conservatives.

There first intention isn't to be funny-it's just to make fun of the left which is hypocritical. That's why these jokes fall flat. You'll NEVER see them say anything about Bush or Cheney. The Daily Show have made fun of Clinton, Kerry, Dean, etc. They ALWAYS go for the laugh first.
I like the presenter; but the writing sucks! Maybe it's because I'm a democrat (although I think I can laugh at my own party)...I just don't think the content is funny.

I doubt you've seen his college transcript since such things aren't public record, and, due to various privacy laws, would be illegal to post publicly, so let's go from what IS public record. Do you have a link to the court decisions in britain? Blogs can easily paraphrase legal jargon without accurately portraying the nature of the decision. Also, a multitudinous army of scientists support his findings and/or findings which are very similar in nature.

I'm sorry, but that's incorrect. You put your hand over your heart for both. If you are wearing a hat you take it off and put it over your heart or, if in a military or law enforcement uniform, you render a salute. But at least he stood up. At my highschool, the illegal imigrants boo the national anthem.
Awesome episode - Jodi is great. This one had so many good jokes it's hard to pick a favorite. The Colbert comparison with the fake weatherman and fake New Yorker is one of the best. Keep up the good work!
