How pneumonia occurs

This is a true story about me:

Before I was even a year old, I was 11 or 9 months old, I didn't eat, I slept randomly, and went on my back. My mother took me to the doctors and they said I was fine. Then when I was took to the hospital, I was taken away right away, and the doctor's said "Your son is very ill, he has pneumonia, you could be in trouble." My mum replied with: "Hang on, I've took him to the doctors *so many times* and they said he was fine!" I did survive pneumonia though.

I had it last christmas, Called the docter out said it was a nose bleed then got another one out and he said it was pneumonia. Was the worst Christmas ever.

Well, I may have pneumonia, one of my lungs really hurts and I have been coughing a lot nonstop. I have been coughing up puke a lot too. Can somebody tell me if I should go to the doctor? I'm pretty youge. So should I tell my parents? I have asthma and also when I breathe it feels like the air isn't reaching my lungs. I'm only getting little air so I breathe faster. Can someone tell me as soon as possible If I should go?

@free2flyism GO TO THE DOCTOR. I had pneumonia and it is a very serious thing. Pnuemonia permanantely damages your lungs. Now i can't participate in sports without getting light headed.

i had pneumonia right after i had my son about 3 yrs ago. i had it in both lungs. my husband said i looked like a zombie and i felt like one too lol my BP was like 92/50 or something like that. the doc had to give me two different meds to make it go away. i still have a few breathing problems today

My comment : OMG me too . I had it from 0-4 years of age . That's equivalent to One time for every year of my life up until the age of four. I was born a month premature so when i got out of the hospital my lungs still weren't fully developed yet so if I caught something as simple as the common cold it turned into Pneumonia.

@MrCrunchycookies123 2. ) I spent the first four years of my life in and out of the hospital only to come home for like a few months at a time before I was right back in the Hospital with Pneumonia all over again . After the forth time I caught it, the Dr. told my mother if I caught it again, there would be a very slim chance I'd survive it at my age.

I'm still here a the age of 33 so I guess I was lucky enough to not get it again . I still remember being in the Hospital too it was a horrible experience .

gahhhhh i have pneumonia this is my 8th day the doctor gave me a persription she said if i have bacterial pneumonia it should be gone in about 3 more days so u guys with pneumonia might want to ask ur doctor if u know if u have viral or bacterial to see if u can get some medication

i got penumonia at the moment and i've had it for the past 2 weeks and wont go away! usualy i breath in deep and slow because i do a hell of a lot of cardio exercise, my lunch capsitiy is usualy 5.4L but i bet that's gone down now :/ it sucks haha
