My channel icon picture shows the background of the Mohawk from the stockade area. Used to have good times there. I may have moved myself, but I hope the area can still become nicer than ever again.
Great video and captions. Used to work at collins park back in college. Stopped at jumpin' jacks when my sons and i were back to visit in '07. if anyone has footage of esperance or central bridge area, would appreciate a note. thanks
this is as bad as the cylon devastation. again where is howard plum to save us. oh i forgot he's at the jersey shore looking for casting rejects for his show. oh well.
I'm a volunteer firefighter with West Glenville. I just want to say it really is this bad and even worse in other areas. People in Rotterdam Junction have lost almost everything from flooding with water past some peoples roofs. Fort Hunter had massive flooding along with many other places some areas houses completely washed away. NY isn't making a big deal about this on national news. We are slowly but surely pulling together and repairing the damage. It's your community that will help you throu
This is very well done. Other than some panning that was slightly dizzying, your video really documented the flooding very well. All this happened not 4 blocks from my house. Luckily I live on the Schenectady side of Freeman's Bridge and at the top of a hill. Our home was never in danger. My prayers are with those who lost so much.
@belladonna573 Thanks. I did my best to keep the camera motions easy, but because so many of the roads were closed and traffic backed up, I toured the whole area on my bike, so the camera was handheld without a tripod.
Hey Dan, it's Nathan from open open mics way back (accordion). In NYC now, where we had some real wind, but it looks like you had much more trouble than us with the water.
MY FAMILY AND I JUST MOVED FROM SCHENECTADY TO FLORIDA IN FEBRUARY. WE WERE WORRIED ABOUT US WHEN WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN WORRIED ABOUT YOU GUYS. I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE VIDEO. I HAVE HEARD ABOUT HOW BAD IT WAS BUT THE VIDEO MAKES IT MUCH CLEARER. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST DOCUMENTATION OF THE DEVASTATION. THANK YOU FOR KEEPING US CONNECTED.
