I had to learn my lesson the hard way as well. Went through several Chinese generators before I got my Honda. A Honda is well worth the extra hundreds of dollars for a reason. It's quiet & will always start when you need it to.
I like both of these machines, I have a similar two stroke one and it has been useful, I want to get a Honda though as I agree the two stroke one isn't powerful enough :]

I have two of these great generators. I have used them extensively for two years and average about 100 hrs a week with them. Never a problem. I would like to offer a word of advice to anyone who has made such an investment: Go to Home Depot and invest in 10 guage extension cords. You will get less voltage drop, generate less heat in the cord, and draw fewer amps. 14 and 16 guage cords don't cut it. Great video BTW
well does it surprise you that the tiny generator wont power a fridge? if you bought a big one it would have done fine,

take apart the 89 dollar one and take the generator out. hook some windmill blades on it and you got cheap windpower
