Always liked the Sweeney closing theme. Quite innovative in that the producers went for a downbeat tone to end the episode.
It hinted at a weariness and melancholy beneath the flash.
Or maybe Regan was just pissed off with hairy arsed villains on his manor.

@thefranksterboy Almost entirely within a thjree mile radius of Hammersmith which was the production base. Occasionally it ventured further, such as the City and Farringdon, Peckham in the first episode, and Wimbledon Village.

Brilliant episode is Nightmare. No cop show since has ever come close to matching The Sweeney's brilliance.
