Like you, everyone has an opinion. The truth isnt in a science lab, but science helps to reveal some truths. Facts arent evidence, they are just facts. Science becomes a religion when the facts are used to support a theory which cannot be proven by testing & experimentation. If the experiment cannot be repeated with a predictable outcome, then its not a fact.

Scientists can make organic compounds & DNA, but they have NEVER created life from non-living matter. To assume as much is delusional.

Faith has not lead to any technological advancement, science has. The more influence the clerics have in any society the more backward the culture it. BTW - The Bible isnt a religion, its a handbook which explains the purpose of life & what will happen after death. Its teaches us what is right so that we can live a fulfilling life of joy, peace, love, truth, and hapiness. When humans take that book and turn it into a religion, then it becomes a negative influence.

BTW, they did more than just bath daily as you suggested. They also had circumcision, didnt go near their wives whilst they menstrated, separated the sick from the community, and many other forward ideas. But I suppose you would have to read it to truly appreciate it.
