  • Vedder was the better songwriter and Cornell was the better vocalist.

  • I think that chris and eddie have great voices, but for me the best singer of the early nineties has to be Mike Patton

  • @angeldustnights3000 Staley. 'Nuff said.

  • holy shit listen to Cornell on this, really. Goddamn!!!

  • dad bought me a cd by these guys for christmas. are they a christian band?

  • @IllTryButNoPromises LOL not even close! Temple of the Dog is a grunge band dude

  • @grigorione nopee sure dont

  • Whenever I'm bored in study hall, I always just feel like throwing my desk across the room and scream the outro to this song until my teacher calls for backup.

  • @EnchantedMoon81 too true, i think his voice and passion raped me, but im cool with that lol

  • .......... EPIC....................

  • When I was 21 I used to think he was saying "if I fall, if I fall?, I fall, oohh welll!"

  • @bradalanbeckwith1 i thought he was singing 'aint my fault', and that was just now

  • Really sick Outro.

  • lol the yeah, yeah, YEAH!!! part

  • if i were a guy, i dunno who i'd rather sing like..vedder..or cornell..i've wondered about this before, and just cant seem to make up my mind. i think i like that :)

  • @lovealiceinchains I like Eddie but definitely Cornell if you ask me.

  • @Lekter like them both to much to choose

  • @lovealiceinchains cornell, theres enogh vedder imitators and they all sound rediculous, for eddie vedder, listening to modern rock radio must me like looking into some bizzare funhouse mirror

  • @lovealiceinchains personally I like Eddie, better live from what I have seen. and I just like his voice more.

  • @lovealiceinchains definitely cornell as much as i like eddie cornell has so much more versatility

  • @lovealiceinchains cornell man

  • @lovealiceinchains cornell! hes got more passion and power!

  • @mimono1997ooo I also think hes got a less genric voice and more unique i hav nothing aginst eddie but still cornell stands out more

  • @lovealiceinchains Vedder is a good singer, but Cornell is great. He and Layne were the best singers of this era.

  • Just listened to this for the first time last night while i was stoned it fuckin blew my mind. great band.

  • thank ya

  • Thank you so much for not getting into drug.

  • this is so sweet! can't tell you how many nights i been f*****d up and singing this with no music. Chris cornell rocks

  • Let's keep it at both Cornell and Vedder have great voices.

  • Mate of mine has just been sent to prison for 9 months. I know it's not the same but I do love this song at the moment. :( Unhappy days

  • @MrYardlebird, look on the bright side - there's 2 months left.

  • 5:12 - 5:30 is some of my favorite stuff from Cornell ever.

  • Artificial Red

  • Another great song on one of the best records ever recorded. Definitely one of my all-time favorite albums. At the moment, I only have it on cassette....bummer. I'll have to do something about that, but for now I'll thank you very much for posting so I can listen to it here.

  • beautiful =')

  • absolutely one of my best songs...

  • intense lyrics...

  • man i miss this music, have misplaced my tape somewhere....

  • album £3 on ebay

  • great great memories with this track

  • Ooo.

  • I have never heard any other singer put so much soul in his singing!

  • Have you listened to mad saeson?

  • staley is in class of 99 to, both r sik, old a.i.c was the best

  • they have this great song - long gone day right ? =]

  • Thats AIC

  • what?

  • been there, done that, lol.

  • great song

  • How underrated is Mike Mccready. I don't care if he doesn't play the most difficult stuff ever, it sounds so amazing.

  • well chris is really god on all this album, but! i am totally agree with you mike is sooooo underrated, even in pearl jam i think

  • @wanniator I agree. As long as it sounds great it doesn't matter how difficult you play the guitar, the drums, etc. The Beatles is a great example

  • @Lekter thats not true because everyone has a different idea of what sounds great. Some people think pete wentz sounds great but that doesnt make him a good bass player because he sucks.

  • @Lekter btw mike mccready is fuckin amazing

  • @Lekter lol i dont know specifics of whats difficult or not, much as id like 2 i dont play nething so i just listen to what sounds good and if i want to ill listen to like the bass that you dont hav2 be a genius to hear

  • @Lekter I gotta agree with you guys. Some people think speed is extremely important. I disagree. It's how it sounds (quality) is important. I personally don't care about the speed of a song. If it's a fast song I just say "Oh..."

  • @Lekter lol they're the perfect example actually

  • @Lekter pureeeee talent =]

  • @Lekter Beatles must be worst example EVER!

  • @wanniator I'll say this for Mike McCready...he was in "Temple of the Dog" and "Mad Season" (working with 2 other amazing vocalists other than Eddie Vedder in Chris Cornell and of course Layne Staley) and is a founding and current member of Pearl Jam. How much more AWESOME can you be!!??

  • ahhh I love this one

  • This album was the dork side of the moon of the new generations....

  • Erm I mean Dark Side of the moon...

  • A is nowhere near O. Lol..

  • the dork side?

  • No words to describe it. Thanks, man!

  • REACH DOWN!!!!

  • Great!!!! only it!!!

  • the last two minutes of that song basically settled any arguments about who was the greatest vocalist in rock in the early 90s.

i love vedder and company but how can you argue against this?

  • i agree with you 1000%

  • id have to say layne was but FUCK

he wails liek a motherfucker dont he..

  • Thank you ucicreus, those last two minuets have to be some of the most insanely good singing on earth. I can't even imagine how hard it would be to try to sing that section completely.

  • Geoff Tate Jeff Buckley or Steve Perry for competition.

    But I agree with Cornell.

  • Thanks for adding! I've been waiting to see this one on YT for a LONG time.

  • u and me both bro

  • thanks for addin this one my friend

i could listen to it a million and one times and never get tired of it
