  • I just use water for the feathers, let them shake it off and preen dry. Maybe a dab of olive oil for the wattles and the leg scales. I would NOT want to put something on the chicken's feathers can they can't safely ingest accidentally.

  • My friend and I should have seen this video before we washed ours and put them in a show. We ended up using a hair dryer to dry thmr. Other than that, we washed them ok.

    ps-You keep referring to this chicken as a "him" but I'm quite sure it's a girl!
