@1965 probably say something like: What is that wet stuff? Ahhh it's bath time! You..., I don't know lets hope they make a movie out of it. haha ;) lol
My cat does that! He is real tall and opens cabinets, doors, etc. Cats teach each other their tricks, so if one cat can do it, they all will eventually do it.
If cats ever develop opposable thumbs, they WILL take over the world. (Some polydactyl cats already have thumbs - they just haven't figured out how to use them. Yet.)
@john5doe3 We didn't teach them. Jasper the black cat showed Sam how and they just do it. Sam can shake the door so hard the lock mechanism will disengage allowing him in a locked room. That withstanding I'm sure with proper motivation (food) one could teach most cats to do this.
I thought as much....boy they are wonderful.. I miss mine so much. They are being boarded till I find a place to live were they can be safe and I can afford to keep them. It is hard when you are used to multiples to get along with only one kitty. You are quite fortunate to have such beauties!
They are so smart, open with one hand and pull the door with the other hand. Smart. Do you think it is true that the tuxies are so smart that they raise the cat I.Q. for the entire household? That is what I read. We are already know siameses' are smart. How about the black ones!(my vote).
@1965ace Yeah, cats have a 6th sense for knowing exactly when to do something when you don't want them to. Human on computer/cat lays across keyboard. Human trying to read/cat lays on top of book. Human trying to carry something heavy/ cat walks in front of you and stops in doorway. Human walking down stairs/cat lays on middle step. Human trying to write/cat bats at pen. Human trying to sleep/cat desperate for attention. It's a cat thing.
@CeruleanSage I have found reverse psychology works very well with them. Try to get them to block your computer screen, they will avoid it. The only thing that it doesn't work with is a closed door, they can't stand a closed door.
My Cat opend everything, absoluty everything. sometimes i came home from work and my cat opend the fridge to get some wonderfull meals hrr i loved my cat
Cute! Smart cats! Did they teach themselves? Or did you?
