I can still vividly remember Jose Marie Gonzales dancing the Mashed Potato with Liberty Ilagan while the Electromaniacs were playing this tune in Night Owl hosted by Lito Gorospe.
Hai, it is really western style.....good..............chexk my hundred percent music in aquamine avi video. in u tube. Within a minute it will cover the all notes in an octave. check it and report................antoji on google and antojikalathinkal on u tube. ok.
Every time I hear the LOVER'S GUITAR BY Electromaniacs I always remember my boss JMG. The Cinema Recording Studio. Maraming salamat for the revival of all the Electromaniacs records.
I have been searching for this group for a long time.Thank you so much for the upload Jokiron.I was in UNC Naga City in early 60's when we dance with this music especially " I Miss You So"Great job for sharing this.
Yup I vividly remember this instrumental though I didn't know that it was the Electromniacs who played this music... Thanks for downloading, surely it fills my heart with joy hearing those music of the yester-years..
Iba na ngayon ang Electromaniacs sound .... I think I still prefer the original 'maniacs, tulad nitong Lover's Guitar ... ang version ng current Electromaniacs is not so snappy. Dito ko "lasang-lasa" ang genuine 60s rock and roll sound! :D
I remember 9 teeners on TV. Si Cecille Onrubia was, I think, one of the dancers. I remember the theme went "get around 9 teeners, get around 9 teeners, round round round 9 teeners..." I was 2nd year college at the UP and we watched 9 teeners in the TV room of the Yakal Residence Hall. Hmmm...those were good times.
Ninduta uy!! Im 50yo now. back in the late 60's or early 70's my brother had a 45rpm record of this. I made Lover's Guitar my favorite then. I used to play it on the radio phono..
ou.. 1962 nga yan. i was only 3 years old then. ha ha ha, dalaga ka na pla noon!!! :) hey, i saw your username in one of the comments yesterday. ijust don't remember where in u-tube. :)
@AlaAla88 Star players at that time: Alberto Reynoso, Narciso Bernardo, Ed Ocampo, Manny Jocson, Elias Tolentino, Eddie Pacheco, Roel Nadurata, Arturo Valenzona, Engracio Arazas, Rogelio Melencio, Alfonso Marquez, Mariano Tolentino, etc . Jaworski was still studying at UE college of commerce at that time.
i think mga 3 yrs old lang ako when this song came out. but i've never forgotten this tune ... di talaga mapapantayan sa galing ang gitara ng mga Electromaniacs....orig pa ang track!! I still love this instrumental, kasama ito sa playlist ko!
magaling talaga ng pinoy,, see yan ang counterpart ng shadows at ventures,, if only malaki ang market ng music industry natin baka magulat ang shadows at ventures..
I remember Kuya Cesar usually played this song as one of his introduction song sa kanyang program sa radio.. same ung faithfull love..
Famous models and celebrities at that time: Boots Anson Joji Felix Amparito Llamas Cynthia Ugalde Encarnita Abierra Pearlie Archache Amalia Fuentes Susan Roces Liberty Ilagan Maggie de la Riva Helen Gamboa etc.
i still remember when my dad used to carry me on his shoulders to watch a stage show back in the 60's. i think i was only 4 or 5 years old then. i still have some clear memories of my childhood as early as 3 years old. this i'm sure cause i have land marks and dates..
i dont think electromaniacs did a recording of 'stranger on the shore'. walsy777 could be referring to the eagles, the british ala-shadows group who came out with hava nagila, bristol express, aldila, etc...thanks jokarilon for featuring one of the best [if not the best] instrumental groups of our generation!
such a nostalgic song, many thanks Jokar. i long to hear their other song, strangers on the shore- in any format. mga kabayan pls share if you have it.
thanks Jokarilon . I been seaching for this instrumental for a long time. I've been looking for the instrumental of 'Love at First Sight'. I appreciate it if you have one.
