I think the reason this series is confusing so many people is that there seems to be a thick layer of satire at work here. The series seems to be mocking the sort of absurd characters we see in a lot of anime and this show lays flat how effing ridiculous is all is.

At least that's what I've got so far, but between the opening scene straight out of a h-game anime adaptation and the rest with the horn dogs and their quest to get laid and guy whose indifference get's the girls. It's just so crazy.

I just watched the first episode and, while a couple moments made me smile, it felt a bit depressing. Too many characters introduced, especially the ones to appear for like 5 brief seconds... To figure out a shred of the plot, I had to go to Animenewsnetwork after watching this to see what the themes are and I still haven't the fogiest idea.
