I still have my original 33rpm record of this, which I bought at the state fair back in 1960. Shows a picture of Charlie and a nice '32 coupe flathead V8 on the jacket. Wonder why everyone associates '32 coupes with this song? Charlie clearly says it's a flathead V12 and that he has a carful of other kids. It was probably a Tudor or even a sedan. Some songs just stick with you from childhood, and a lifetime of hard knocks fails to make you forget them. This is one of those.
