Not hard to convert to a paintball rocket launcher...just replace that airsoft shell with a paintball grenade shell. You can get a paintball RPG off RAP4...but I prefer to make one so I can customize it with out worry.

One.

However, it takes 8-10 seconds to put another charge of gas.

Keep in mind that the "real" M72 LAW is a use once and throw away launcher. So if you wanna be realistic, you'd use the launcher once and not use it again till you respawn :)

No. 100 yard effective range is achieved from the conversion of a highly volatile liquid into gas. Pressurized gas does not have enough volume to push the nerf out the tube with this system. It has to be green gas.

Yes, the trigger will be hard to make if you do not have the grenade already. U need the grenade to properly align the trigger.

The trigger is essentially a long metal rod with a hook on the end to press the grenade valve button.

Thanks. As for the name, I made this to mimic the LAW. Also wanted people to find it easily or find it by accident in youtube and Google. Using words like M72 and LAW will cause my video to show up and make it easy to identify for people searching for such things.

i made a similar law rocket but i used a home made coaxil diaphragm design it shoots anywhere from 20 yards to a max of about 250 yards and runs off continuous co2 i don't kiss doesnt apply when ur miniacle(never had to spell it lol)

The Mad Bull XM PB4 is the best fit for this application. You just need one but the XM PB4 cost from $72-$80.

Nerf discontinued the Pocket Vortex product in 2004 i think. They are very hard to find now and new ones cost 3x the original MSRP. For both your questions - EBAY.

Since Green Gas is actually propane, i would not recommend using projectiles that are on fire. Although, i'm sure the resulting explosion would increase the range... or kill the user. lol

Says "Airsoft" because my airsoft field allows the use of them for Area Effect weapons (Mortars, RPGs, grenades and such).

If i wanted to I can cut a foam cup to fit in the barrel, fill it with Airsoft BBs, add baby powder and seal it up. i can then fire it against a wall and the impact I think would be most dramatic.

forget the Mylar film. Just tightly wrap the pvc pipe with 3-4 layers of wax paper. Go to the fabric store or craft store and ask the employee for a sheet of felt sheets, preferably with adhesive on one side.

Please see my other video where I shoot it in a parking lot. The nerf will fire forward with very little hooking left or right even with moderate cross-wind. HOWEVER, since the trajectory is a ballistic arch it is hard to be accurate on a target height-wise. I can say I can EASILY put a nerf between a football goal post from 70 yards.
