"Only a handful of players in the world have the stroke for this shot"Are you kidding me?Sure it takes practice but really only a handful, yeah right.Venomtrickshots can do better masse and did moon variations.
Like putting olympic gymnasts in the circus. Professional play vs. entertainment. Although both have their places, they should remain separate. I am sure you are a very experienced player, and I hope the "training videos" are about the actual game, not just ways to get out of bad situations. I will look forward to them.
The only was the shot would be relevant is if the opponent would have all seven of his object balls lined up, covering your eight ball shot. You would have a 1/1000 chance to make your ball, and a 99% chance to break all of his object balls out, not worth it. I also am not completely closed to the idea that the announcement at the end had nothing to do with the trick shot,I just assumed from all of your videos being trick shots. Trick shots have no placein the world of professional billiards.
Excellent trick shots. Great grab at the end. Leaves no room to doubt your masse shot. I bow down to your masse (but your masse only). However, "Dead stroke training", "for serious billiards?" There would be no circumstance where a serious professional player would ever take a crazy masse shot like this. They would play a bank, safety, ect.
I cant wait till Fast Larry comes back to San Diego. The week he sppent here filming his next instructional DVD was very hel[pful to my game. Not many pros would do what he did. He even came to my house to train me. If you ever get the opportunity to learn the game from this man, DO IT!, you won't be disappointed. You say pointless? I say you just don't get it. What have you done to make your mark in this world besides tagging your neighbors fence?
How can the world's greatest masse ever hit, be pointless. You knowing a great shot from a 2in2 is pointless. Nobody on earth in the last 12 years since I made this has been able to duplicate it on a 9' table. That is the point.
Exactly, to hit a shot, that nobody else can make, knowing that is as good as that shot can be made. To perform a DF12, that maybe only a dozen players on earth
on day will do as well. It's taking the game to it's final and extreme edge. FL

I take it not too many games are played on that one table since one side is almost against the wall. Great shots though
