The answer to what killed the dinosaurs is obvious....... Q: Where do we find the remains of all of the dinosaurs? A: In water deposited sedimentary rocks along with all of the other fossils around the world. Noah's flood destroyed them all around 4400 years ago.
What evidence do you have that the air we breath exists ? Can you see it? Is it tangible? Just as it can only be seen by smoke the true evidence of certain things can only be known through God and a little added common sense.
The science we know of today is like 1 grain of sand in a desert to the knowledge of the one who created everything. You claim to know what killed them, Explain where they came from.
@maxxout90: Exactly and that's why scientists strive to learn the other billions of grain out there. How can we even be sure that the bible itself is correct? It was written by man, was it not? The fact is that we cannot even comprehend the magnificence that God has bestowed upon us. Unlike religious zealots, science is at least TRYING to comprehend His works. Perhaps one day, our descendants will laugh at us for believing in evolution and Big Bang but theirs is a work learned from our mistakes.
@runningrabbitsdotnet This did not happen. period! - Why is the "Big bang" a lie? - It's simple. There is no way their bones would have remained intact after all that heat and blast. I date my clues back to the time of Noah. (1) God did not allow them into the ark because noah could not have fed them. (2) It would only take flod waters to drown them causing them to lay underwater and mud covered them up. thats y they're found today soo well preserved and caked into the soil. just my 2 cents.
@maxxout90 No, the heat from the blast only affected a limited radius around the explosion, the rest died from the temperatures dramatically cooling (they were cold blooded reptiles).
There is ample scientific evidence for the Big Bang and other arguments - the same science that put a man in space, can fly planes, and split the atom.
Your arguments are based on no evidence at all apart from faith.
@maxxout90 first of all learn how to spell and speak English correctly. And second, please get an education. the bible is a story book it is not fact or science. and you dont need a flood to cover up bones. it gets covered up in many other ways like wind, rain, lava, etc.
maybe a meteor will hit earth and sum other animals or sumthing will be digging up our fossils in a few years saying that humans use to exist and were hit by a meteor and that made the extinct you never know guysss
The 6 days (more accurately called eras or ages) God was referring to when creating the Earth are MILLIONS of years to us humans... at present to the end times, we would be living in the seventh day/age.
Humans never existed when dinosaurs were alive - end of the story!
I want to hear an explanation as to how all these gigantic creatures were able to get as big as they did, and why the fact that they couldn't possibly exist now [because the gravity we experience today simply will not allow it] is not discussed.
Ok, my bad. I have not put all of the answers on the website yet but hopefully this will answer the most important question. What destroyed the original Earth? Look on your Mapquest satellite/aerial viewer. Find the north west US and zoom to level three. Center Idaho on your screen and uncheck the show labels box.
Here you will see the largest impact crater so far discovered on Earth. Nearly 1000 MILES in diameter. There is a labeled pic on my website. Hopefully you can see the crater. Cheerio!
It is believed, I think, that oxygen levels were much higher then today, allowing for living things to grow much larger...It has nothing to do with gravity.
I understand how higher oxygen levels can explain gigantic growth, but, it doesn't explain how (some of) these gigantic creatures were able to apparently withstand a force of gravity that appears to of been more than their bodies could handle.
Structurally, they appear to of been incapable of surviving the Earth's gravity.
However, imho, they appear to of been perfectly suited to an oxygen/nutrient rich environment, but only with lower gravity.
Many large dinosaurs had hollow bones, especially in the neck and head regions, allowing them to weight a lot less then one would think. Also, many had air sacks, much like birds and some fish that allowed them to get more "buoyancy" ( I know that is not the right word ).
It does seem to be incomprehensible though, the sheer size...
@MrPoopybum I seen the answer to that question on a documentary, basically its because there was alot and i mean alot more oxygen back then than there is today meaning animals could grow alot bigger without strugling to sustain themselves.
@MrPoopybum over 1 ton of space rocks and dust hit our planet daily.. over time that adds up, so back then the earth was much smaller and had much less gravity.. you can really see the effects during meteor showers
@MrPoopybum Hello friend. The fossil record shows that many creatures were much larger than those of today......dragonflies with 4 foot wing spans. Giant sloths 20 feet tall etc. All found in the fossil record. The thing you have to ask yourself is this.....where do we find the fossil record including all of the dinosaur remains? A: In water deposited sediments. Noah's flood killed them all 4400 years ago.
@johnthreesixteen316 Creationist coming to proper scientific videos. isnt that just dandy? What happened with the rapture 2 days ago? I thought all you religious cooks would disappear!
That has to be the most ignorant, yet serious(?), answer possible I think.
Sorry, friend, but no. "Noah's flood" has long been proven to be fiction.
And, despite your desire to make your belief system fit reality, all dinosaurs were extinct ~millions~ of years ago. If you wish to debate matters such as this I suggest you acquire an accredited education with an open(ed) mind first.
scientist goes to university are you go too???So what,if the earth change sometimes (only for the best)no humans and another creatures will rise from this, what is going to happend its for the best;)
No scientist says that they know everything. In fact, the scientist position is that they do not know everything about everything BUT THEY TRY TO. It's the anti science that claims that everything the man is to know, it's already known and you just have to read the bible and follow instructions.... like good sheep.
wtf you talking about, the star has fallen on wate 75% wtf there was no star, if it was a star that crashed into earth, the earth would be destoryed into tiny tiny particles
you're still wrong. Tazerfire is right. Yes there is a high likelihood that the ASTEROID landed in water in fact the ASTEROID did land in water. You need to brush up on some facts. Super-heated space ASTEROID meets placid water. What happens to water? Instant evaporation. What is under the water? Seabed. Thus a crater. Land or water doesn't matter.
1. Star is not a "large" term. It is a specific term that applies to suns and distant planets. Asteroid or meteor is still the correct term.
2. The water over the Yucatan was a shallow coastal sea. It vaporized.
3. Where did you get that number? And yes, a massive tsunami would have happened with impact too.
4. 2000 Y2K was coming. June 6, 06 was coming too (666). And before that 1860-something was the END. People invent and worry about this crap every few years. Dumb.
1. earth's water content cant evaporate a star 10X or above, the size of earth.
2. we cant see evidence of crater in this time because it was asteroid falls a million years ago.
try to dig a land for about 90miles under and lets see if you can still see it after 100years.
3. end of the world does exist BUT no one knows when it will happen. 2012 is just a wild prediction, because there will be a pole shift or sumthing that, the earth has a probability to end
where did you hear that crap about water evaporating a star? Stars don't evaporate! You're the one that's dumb.
And we can see evidence! Why are you in denial over it? Things that are 400 million years old still show evidence. A Million is nothing to the earth. Do some research!
And lastly, yes the end of the world is coming unquestionably in about 250+ million years when our sun obliterates us and evaporates our oceans as it dies.
nice try moron but I'm female, heterosexual, and almost certainly more educated than you are. I don't know why you're talking about a star when its an asteroid that is under discussion. You're right earth's water content stands no chance with a star, but it's an ASTEROID in question, and that's different.
MOAR, why is it its always so short bits that are put up on youtube, where is the rest of it ?

Wayyy more oxygen in the atmosphere at this time, easier to grow
hockeykid164 2 years ago
What does oxygen have to do with gravity?
Todays gravity would have prehistoric megafauna flat to the ground in order to live, and it's obvious that is not how they lived.
