I liked this movie. A person changing sexes through the years and then at the end there is an angel or something flying in the sky and singing. I thought i was tripping or something. Great movie!!!

Sally Potters' film is an absolute masterpiece! It introduced me to the

inimitable Tilda Swinton, as well as Billy Zane! It also gave a young queer

man a sweet farewell to the legendary Quentin Crisp!

I read the book a lot of times (4 to 6 times) and it's still my favorite book/novel or what ever the f*ck you want to call it and I saw the movie also 4 to 6 times and it is also great. Virginia Woolf,Tilda Swinton and Sally Potter...perfect.

I LOVE this movie! So fascinating to see one life throughout the eras of utmost elegance and facing the dilemmas of the times, to emerge as a person far more knowledgeable of sexism, politics and love as well as spirituality more than anyone who has lived in one lifetime. Orlando is unforgettable.

Estoy locamente enamorada de Tilda desde que vi este film, su ambigúedad despierta mis instintos mas profundos, Orlando ha sido una de las mas influyentes peliculas en mi Vida ! y sin duda una de las mas originales. Las miradas de Tilda a cámara, el arte fotografico, la banda de sonido (que inlcuye a Jimmy somerville) es exotica y atractiva, siempre me emociona ver este film, no puedo explicarlo..

Yes, I love all the trailers, each part is exquisitely done and Tilda Swinton in drag is to die for...but, how come is SO difficult to purchase the dvd of this movie? Was it blackballed, or out of stock or what???? I have tried everything: Amazon, private video stores, LGBT oriented stores, even B&N. No luck. How can I get a copy of Orlando? Pls help
