  • ...Double Rainbow :O

    Sry, could't resist :P

  • This is a good lens at f9 and over

  • how;d u do 0:25?

  • @pinoykillah18 Camera on a tripod, set to bulb mode and using a cable shutter release. Left the shutter open for a good while. Look up startrail photography on google. It's great fun mate, cheers.

  • how is the distortion ?? help !!! n would it be better if i buy the new f3.5 version ??

  • great shots and video also interested in your choice of music. Could you post the musicians

  • do u know abt the canon 10-22? its much more expensive but seems to be more reliable becoz of the brand. im fresh on dslr so i couldn't decide this or canon...

hows the quality and distortion control of this lens?

can u give me some advice? thxx !

  • @dtamyf This is such a stupid comment... "It seems more reliable because of the brand". Just check out some tests and try them before just thinking of the brand. Of course when something is worth twice as much, then it is likely to be more reliable, but if you have a low budget, the difference of quality may not be a problem. anyway for most pictures unless you want to print posters it doesn't really matter to have a rather cheap or a very expensive lens with the same featuring

  • using 400d means u had a crop factor so the pics wasnt full frame....10mm= 26mm & 20mm=36mm

  • @safeer221287 Well, that's not true actually. Because this is a DC lens, which means that it is specifically build for camera's with APS-C sized sensors. That means that the focal lengths on this lens are actually 10mm, 20mm, and everything in between. Your statement is right, but only if the lens is build for use with fullframe camera's. Only then the cropfactor wil decrease the field of view.

About the video: The long exposure time does create a great effect on those stars! Well done!

  • @safeer221287

    hummmm lets do the math crop factor = 1.6 on xxxd series 10x1.6= 16mm 20x1.6= 32 :)

    16mm-32mm

  • i like it man

I want to know that what technique did u use on night sky

  • The night sky shot was a series of 6 five minute long exposures that I blended together in photoshop. I tried doing it in one long 30 minute exposure, but was getting too much noise in the image.

    Cheers mate.

  • @bloodgasses you know... you can damage your camera sensor... by doing trying to make a 30 min exposure... cause he can overheat easily... you can only do long exposures with film cameras

  • @bloodgasses yea it's best to get outa town for longer exposers:D

  • thank's

  • I've had my Sigma 10-20mm for a couple months now, and It's my favourite. I only have a couple lenses but I use it most since it captures almost everything.

I have a couple timelapses I've done with it on my profile.

  • Awesome pics !

Do you think these lenses will do a nice job with real estate photography?

  • Yes, the Sigma 10-20mm is ultra wide, and well suited to capturing interiors and exteriors. It's not the fastest lens though, in terms of it's ability to capture heaps of light, so for darker interior shots I would recommend a tripod and slower shutter speeds. Cheers.

  • Very nice photos!

I'm thinking to buy this lens, are you happy with this lens?

  • these are not his pics. These are from the website.

  • Sorry, not my pics? They are indeed my pics. What website are you talking about. Thanks.

  • Yes, I am very happy with this lens. Very versatile. Cheers mate.
