HAHAHAAA!!, I love this movie. It screwed with my head for weeks after watching it.. well only '2' but one thing I never noticed was Arnold ran right up to within 2ft of the bomb when it went off. He is truly hardcore - sigh. Ok ok!! reality check - It can be easy to forget he is a cyborg.

Actually, to all you people are dissing the movies effects. They were really quite impressive for their time, hell they still look good for non-CGI effects. Rob Bottin is the man behind these effects and he happened to win an Oscar for them on this film.

@jaimecivi I just rewatched with the commentary tracks by Schwarzeneggar and Verhoeven. They say that Quaid is played by "a doll" (puppet) just as the mask lifts off, but for everything else thereafter he is played by Schwarzeneggar.
