I have visited Joplin a couple of times and thought it was a nice place to set roots. A lot more layed back compared to here in Calgary.

My prayers go to thoes who are victim of the tornado. And to the "Hate America" coments... Get a life! The BEST countrys to live have to be the USA and Canada!

Joplin is awesome! My friend went down through there to see his woman. he brought me some pics and footage to look at. I hope to go there someday.

You might be sick of Joplin, but it will always be special to me. It's a wonderful little place, come and live in Austin, Texas and see what a miserable place THIS is. We have unbearable heat, humidity, traffic, poverty, nowhere where you are welcome to hunt or fish or stroll the river banks--everything is "private property." You have beautiful big trees, you're still one of the ideal "small towns" of America, live it, smell it, appreciate it, embrace it. I miss it.

YA!!! I LOVE JOPLIN!!! I came home to Small Town Iowa after 3 weeks with my cousins. I was so "home" sick. As soon as I graduate I leaving. Rigth after graduation I'm leaving the same nigh and moving to Joplin!

Joplin is not small Lamar where I live is small just because it not as big as new york or dtroit dosent mean its small it means its smaller.. I also know how big Joplin is because Lamar is only 2 miles long and is around 50 or so miles away from Joplin...I am just saying. not trying to sound like I think I am better then you I am just saying what I feel.

Was raised in Joplin, Born in Joplin and cant stand Joplin..the video looks to be Main St going toward 7th, or Crossing 7th, been about 15 years since I was there last. Kinda neat to see Main St agian though, Done a lot of Drag racing there back in the day, back before they ticket you for cruising.

i live in branson, cool it's the down town area of joplin, i have an ex gf there, i would drive all them hours to see her 3 times a week, cool vid, tho i like it for a different reason, the whole area down there is nice, i like joplin
