In the end, I felt sorry for Dougan (sp?) even though he was a psychotic youkai villain, all he wanted was love/acknowledgement from Sanzo. I felt really sad at this death. TT_TT

to be honest, I hope she doesnt continue with the story line so Fanfiction authors like myself can create stories of our own like with Gundam Wing, Trigun and Yoroiden Samurai Troopers. It would be awesome just to keep it where it is or maybe finish a little more but not finish it completely. That would be perfection.

It's funny how everyone thinks it's so great to watch Saiyuki online and not have to buy any of it. But do you know what it's doing? Without ever buying Saiyuki, how will the creator, Kazuya Minekura(?), get money for what she makes? So how will she be able to continue to make more Saiyuki and other manga/anime if she never gets money for her hard work?

personally, I would rather own it and do own seasons 1 and 2...I agree with you though. Besides, the screens to see the episodes are deamn near microscopic, i would rather see a life sized Gojyo on my TV screen. so many reasys why it is better to own.

Lots of people even me like to watch it online. But if I enjoy it so much online then I actually go out and buy it so it's pretty much allowing the authors to get money. Though the money you buy the DVD goes to the companies that sell the DVD not to the author. The companies pay the author. If that makes any sense.

Aww...so sad that it all had to end. For now, at least. But hey, I managed to watch all the episodes that there was of Saiyuki online, never having to rent or anything. This was the last bit.

There's another movie called Saiyuki Burial. And then other seasons of the regular anime, like Reload and Reload Gunlock. Plus allt he stuff in the mangas... But the mangas aren't complete in Japan yet, so the anime isn't finished either. Though I would recommend just buying the mangas... The rest of the dubs have different, and worse, voices.

Oh, and Gensomaden Saiyuki, if you haven't watched that yet.

Read the manga's. They're not complete yet, not even in Japan. The first series is Gensomaden Saiyuki, or just 'Saiyuki'. Then, Saiyuki Reload.

If you want to just follow the animes, then watch Saiyuki first, then Saiyuki Reload. You can watch Gunlock, but it's based off the Reload manga (confusing I know) and you might get confused. Then again, if you don't want to read the manga then Gunlock is your best bet after watching Reload.

Saiyuki: Burial. It's a 3-4 episode OVA series that is done in higher quality than the rest.

It explains the past of the Sanzo ikkou in more detail, especially how they met each other. It mostly focuses on Sanzo in his youth, during the 5 years he was searching for the second Sutra he inherited from Koumyou.
