@the2006513 Ahh...Your hair is curly...It is SUPER hard to get a smooth ''bump'' when its curly..(well the part you are ''bumping'' any way)..Easy fix though-just straighten the part of your hair that you are going to do the bump with...not the ends, just from the root, to the part where you are pinning it! Let me know if this helps!

haha! I SWEAR by Mane and Tale shampoo and conditioner..it is for horses! You get a huuuuge bottle for like 4 dollars, and my hair has gone from grown about 1/4 in every few months to 1/4 to 1/2 in a week. I use Chi heat protector, a Chi Detangling Spray, I blow dry, then I use chi 44 iron guard!

I do to :)...Hopefully I can help...What do you mean it seperates..like..when you seperate the hair, and pull it over the bumpit, or you try and just poof it, the hair kinda falls..ehh.kinda hard to type this, but I think I know what you mean..like you dont get a smooth bump..it falls to the left or right?

If I have just washed and dryed my hair...myn does that also..I know this is kinda icky, but wait till your hair almost feels a littly oily or dirty..That way it wont slip around...Also..hairspray is a MUST. If you tease it that helps..I would suggest you doing the SECOND way that I show in the vid..that works best for thick hair :)

LOL.Thank you! I am very blessed to have good genes.That is a start. BUT.I SWEAR by the shampoo and conditioner for horses called '' Mane and Tale''. Like I said to the person below, my hair increased its growth from maybe a 1/2 inch every few months, to 1/4 to to 1/2 inch every week. I also wash my hair every 3 or 4 days. After shower, I towel dry for a few hrs, then put Chi heat protector and Chi Detangling spray in, and blow dry. Then I use Chi 44 iron gaurd, and straighten! Hope this helps!

YAY! I am SO glad that you like it! I am serious about letting me know how it works..And maybe if you have a camera, take a picture like now..and then in say a month or so, take another one. That way you can REALLY see if its made a difference not only in the way it feels but the way it looks. That is what I did and boy...I could really really really tell!

I do a TON to my hair to..but I honestly dont think there is anything that would damage my hair..I am very lucky. It was/is developed for horses, but is sold for people also. You can get it at Wall Mart..but at mine, it is sold in the pet section..near the wild animal products. I also see it at drugstores, and places like Target etc. But, just look in the pet section..its only like 4 or 5 bucks for a HUUUGE bottle to!

Great tutorial; showed various ways of achieving this hairstyle. I do this bump style quite often, it's simple and can be worn for any occasion, be it casual or elegant. Instead of using the bobby pins, I sometimes use a mini clip instead but pins work very well. The feather headband is really cute, looks so Victorian lol. That side ponytail w/ your hair wrapped around it is so pretty.
