Bobby Bowden definitely brought FSU to the forefront in college football.

When Bama was looking for a coach, a few coaches ago, BB was a front runner and a lot of fans were disappointed when Bama screwed up the hire and let him get away.

But...I must say, that was a very bizarre interview.

I watch tons of college football and most of the time even I can't remember the scores after the game is over. But when the coach can't remember, it's disturbing and hard to watch.

Im a Husker fan and we've had some epic battles with FSU. I think Bobby is getting a bum wrap. He didint sound any more confused than most coaches. He had a hard time remember specific times in the game. If this is what people have been talking about, this is really nit picking.

You fail to mention that FSU is a school that was built on the success of Bobby Bowden. As a native of Tallahassee and a current FSU student, there is no doubt that Bobby Bowden is the heart and soul of Florida State and therefore deserves to leave on his own terms. I trust his judgement. Students rallied around him after the chaos before the GT game. I do not feel like I am in the minority.

I seriously doubt any of you are FSU fans, and have even less of an idea of what is actually going on within the program.

Bobby's time has been come and gone. His actions have put this program back more than any of you could ever know. Recruits are dropping like flies, coaches are fighting in front of players, nobody knows who will be hiring the next DC, and countless other issues that everyone seems to conveiently ignore.

Most FSU fans, including myself, are counting the days till he's gone.

Bobby Bowden is an absolute class act. The rumors about him being run out of FSU bother me as a fan of college football in general. If not for Bobby Bowden, FSU would be an all girl school right now.

As a Clemson fan I can't help but respect the man. He absolutely owned us for a long, long time.
