  • Lol at 5:30 the referee does DDP's taunt.

  • EPIC VIDEO. Thanks for making it.

  • DDP THE REAL PEOPLES CHAMP NOONE CONNECTED WITH THE FANS LIKE HE DID

  • This video isnt a bad thing. Its a good thing :D

  • Some of these diamond cutters look brutal, when the head snaps away from the rest of the vertebrate. RKO looks like a facebuster, I don't care how quick it is, it's not the same. Then again we're in a time where the codebreaker/FU/GTS are considered finishing moves.

  • DDP!

  • DDP IS AWESOME MAN AND DIAMOND CUTTTTER IS AWESOME

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for loading this. By far the best DDP Tribute on Youtube.

  • THE KING OF BADA BING, BADA BOOM, BADA BAANNNG!!!

  • YES... PLEASE DO A TOP MOVES OF DDP VIDEO!!!

  • LOL @ 9:05 flairs that has to be my favorite one it looks so stupid

  • @RyanTheShowOff I'm with you on that. ld like Smahgo do a Top 30 Moves video of DDP. The Trip to the Diamond Mine has to be in the top 5. Someone did a Top 15 Moves video of DDP, the video completely sucked, way too many basic moves and not enough of DDP's cooler moves :(

  • @SodaMoneyInc you mean pfieId82's Top 15 DDP Moves video that completely sucked.. I agree it sucked he left out a handful of DDP's moves and it looked rushed.

  • What ever happened to this guy?

  • No one forgets a great wrestler like DDP. Nice work Smahgo!! I got WWE '12 for the PS3 and I want to create a DDP move set and since you have DDP's matches, would you mind doing The Top 30 moves of DDP please? Thumbs this up if you want a Top 30 moves of DDP.

  • @RyanTheShowOff I will think about it, Ryan ;-)

  • Diamond Dallas Page. Everybody who knows anything about wrestling has to admit that wrestlers like you are so missing in this time!!! That's why I can't watch wrestling today because nobody can find such charismatic, enterteining and especially great great and again great wrestlers as you were. That's what you were doing in the ring was absolutely unbelievable. I love the diamond cutter move and now I love YRG and again thanks to you!!!

  • Always loved watching his matches to see just how he'd put the diamond cutter on his opponent. The one on chavo out of the backslide is my favorite, but it's really hard to choose: counters from bodyslams, suplexes, samoan drops, top-rope chokeslams. Just an all-around exciting move! Glad I finally got to meet him at Anaheim Comic Con this year!

  • I really miss the '96 DDP. That was one great heel.

  • The one he did on Billy Kidman at 07:36 aka the piggyback ride cutter is my favorite, he never saw it coming.

  • The one he did on Tank at 10:55 is my favorite.

  • DDP Is The Best.

This video is the best tribute ever for DDP!

  • 2:34 lol that asshole sold the move too early. He jumped forward before DDP got him.

  • Awesome, here's a thumbs up. Lee Marshall tried to high five DDP. In 1996 DDP was really funny. Remember the song DDP sang about Chavo?? LOL

I wish Shawn Michaels tried to high five DDP back in June on that Raw Roulette special. I would have literally rolled on the floor laughing and marked out at the same time. ROFLMAO

  • DDP was such an innovative and charismatic wrestler, I loved watching him wrestle in WCW. The way he would hit that diamond cutter out of nowhere was awesome.... BANG!!!!!!!!!

  • great vid

  • Amazing compliation! Made my day! Been a DDP fan since 97 always been my fav, Feel Da' Bang!

  • I loved DDP so much. One of my favorite wrestlers. WWE did a terrible job with DDP. I miss the 90s. WCW vs. WWF in their primes. Every week held something special.

  • One absolute badass video, smahgo. you picked out two of the best muse songs. 11:32 "High five... man. Self high five" Funny guy.

  • The best 12 minutes and 10 seconds of wrestling, thank you DDP for memories

  • Your video is epic!!! Fantastic work collecting his matches for this tribute vid... buddy. But where hell is the one when DDP did a Diamond Cutter of a Dangerous Stalling-Suplex?

And where is the one Diamond Cutter that is like a reverse version of Scott Hall's powerbomb (Outsider's Edge) that kinda also looks like Tommy Dreamer's Tommy Hawk? I guess you don't have those footage videos yet.... I hope you can find them :-]

  • THQ, Y U no put DDP in WWE '12?!

  • @Ashkihyena ...hey imagine if DDP makes it in that WWE '12 video game? DDP would be the most fun character out of that whole roster. Yukes / THQ would have to put all of his Diamond Cutter variations in to one tap of a button, maybe randomly... out of like 30 to 50 different ways ;-]

The last time I played as the true DDP in any video game was... WCW / nWo Revenge on the N64. In that game it had about 4 different variations. 05:53 and 07:01 are the two I can remember in that sweet video game.

  • All i can say is gr8 job I watched his billions of different Diamond cutters as a kid and this video reminds me of the Diamond cutters I:ve seen him do. These type of guys like DDP who go over the top to impress not being in wrestling anymore is what killed most of my interest in watching wrestling that why idont care much bout wrestling world these days.Less story more over the top action Thats what wrestling should be like DDP in WCW..take note WWE take note TNA have more guyz be like DDP

  • @JyroKid Sadly, it didn't happen, I don't think DDP will ever, EVER make it into a modern WWE game. THQ/Yukes, Y U hate DDP?!

  • I didnt see any from 2001? I expected some WWF diamond cutters x.x Oh well, awesome job. This is a great compilation video and I'm sure it took many hours.

  • @paynexkillerAOTF

All of WCW's shows was canceled in March 2001. It says "WCW video clips from 1994 - 2001". Not "also WWF's wCw". Did you REALLY watch WCW at any point? because in the video I see two Diamond Cutters from 2001.

  • @TheHebeJeebies Why? Can I not lie on the internet anymore? Yeah, I watched it. Infact I watched all the PPV's back to back a couple month ago.. I guess it's those shots of DDP with his hair line.. Fading.. fading..

  • People should read DDP's book... Positively Page, in the book the first time DDP used the Diamond Cutter was actually the Ace Crusher see at 00:07 because Johnny Ace used one arm and DDP used two arms, that is the only difference between the 2 moves. Ace started to use his with two arms in the later 90s.

And the RKO, its a mix of DDP's Jumping Flying Diamond Cutter and Johnny Ace's one arm Ace Crusher, which makes it the same move as both of them. Randy didn't come up with it or invent it.

  • By the time when Degeneration X first showed in the WWE in 1997, ddp should have said "I got three words for ya... Diamond Cutter, BANG!" because Degeneration X totally stole "I got two words for ya" phrase from ddp.

Thanks for putting that part at the end!! Cool vid.

  • once again, awesome video, dude. it is a thumbs up from me. the wcw ddp is the one that every wrestling fan should remember, not that wwe stalker guy and the smiley guy.

your favorite diamond cutter was the one out of the powerbomb??

  • Very good. I alway loved what Page did in the ring, he is so talented and he had a lot of charisma. He is a legend and deserves to be the headline wrestler for a future WWE Hall of Fame position. Kimberly was very pretty, prettier than all of todays WWE divas, I hope DDP and Kimberly get back together.

  • AMAZING... a Draping Cutter, a Jumping Cutter and a Twisting Cutter. This is proof that DDP did the Tower of London, RKO and the Twist of Fate way before Nigel Mcguiness, Randy Orton and Matt Hardy. Matt Hardy lied, he said he invented the Twist of Fate.

  • @TheKexus You forgot the Old School Swing' by Steve Corino.

  • DDP worked his butt off in the wrestling business to get where he was in 1999. He was near underrated in WCW and deserved the title a lot early, especially with that one at 11:22 .

In 1988 he started be a manager for the AWA, to color commentator, then to a 35 year old rookie wrestler in WCW, to pro wrestler, to finally earn the World Heavyweight Champion in 99. It is not like everything was handed to him. That is why he is known as the original People's Champion and the Working Man's champion.

  • Awesome video I don't know about the music. Good editing Smahgo!!!

  • This video was originally 6 minutes long. I used way too many clips. LOL

    Enjoy.
