People don`t realize, the Beatles weren`t really a rock band but more of a writing team. They really busted their asses writing those songs for those 8 years. They use to go through 100`s of versions of a song, even record 100`s of takes. I compare it to Thomas Edison trying 1000`s a filaments to find the right one to make a lightbulb light. Once in a while you luck out and get it in the first shot, but like Stephen King says "Talent is cheaper than table salt. It`s hard work that counts"

This is a wonderful cover, pro quality! Love the original beginning and ending. And although we can't compare the singer's voice with Lennon's one, it's actually a good thing that he can show his unique style in this song. Well done!

no joke, i almost like this version better. although lennon's voice simply cannot be reproduced, and it is a sufficient condition for my love of the song, the guitar work is more defined than the original. i especially like the guitar picking that is not in the original. superb!

Sounds good to me. They never played it live but you show here that they could have quite easily. I'll never understand why they continued to play their old rock n roll songs on tour instead of stuff off Ruber Soul or Revolver, they didn't need to reproduce it exactly. Imagine seeing that ! Beatles unplugged or something like it, back then.

Fair enough, see your point. I explained fully in the description but have now changed the title also. Im sorry I wasted all 10 seconds of your searching for the song. I still think 1* is a little harsh, considering the effort I put into recording this. It's obvious by listening that it isnt the Beatles lol. Kinda lacks George Martin's touch! And the Beatles themselves! At least 1000spike1000 has more of an open mind/open ears. I hope you found the original, it's untouchable.
