If Stacy still can't figure out why she was cut, I can let her know that unfortunately, she consistently sings under pitch. This is a function of two things: lack of breath support, and and inability to tell that she's singing under pitch, meaning her sense of intonation is not what it could be. Both problems can be addressed with vocal coaching, however the latter problem is the more difficult to address. Some people just have a better sense of pitch than others. It's a matter of degree,

Wow! I couldn't believe LA's ego. Paula DOES have every right to offer her opinion of "Queen Of The Night." It was part of her critique of Stacey's overall performance. Simon has always criticized songs on his shows, over the years, too. I like LA, but maybe he shouldn't offer his own songs to the shows he's judging on, if he can't handle a neg. comment. I'm a songwriter and I receive great feedback, but I also don't freak out if someone doesn't like a particular song.
