Just try to get very close with your parents or any other Vietnamese in your community that you can. Hold on to Vietnamese culture and traditions because it's very rich and such a good thing to know and have. I don't know exactly which city you're in, but smaller cities usually have smaller amounts of Vietnamese people than larger cities.

@cardboardlife There are just so many young Vietnamese children in USA that are born here and completely lose any Vietnamese culture their parents have brought to this country for them. Well basically, how I kind of got an idea of how a word will sound is by listening to Vietnamese songs and then I will follow the lyrics while they are singing. When I do this many times I begin to notice how certain letters and words will sound. Tieng Viet is a very interesting and wonderful language. Thanks again my friend :)
