This is a great show from my era, its re-awoken a lot of good memories, i had been trying to remember the name of the show for ages and then found it on youtube, i now have the book too. Its great that you took the trouble to share this wonderful series :)

@all13Doctors: @all13Doctors I so very much agree. It's a damn shame Jaqueline Pierce retired from acting. (At least, she had last time I looked.) It's also a damn shame she's not as internationally as well-known as she deserves. (I looked through IMDB and could find just two references to US-made productions, both as very minor characters.) Where a major evil villain, she oozes just the right kind of villainy for the part. Superb, talented and far better-looking than most stars.
its tradgic the way pepole treated pepole who looked diffrent back then andthe way Sarah was treated as an outcast and a target for bullies is true if a kid like her was born with a birth mark on their face they were treated as devils children tradgic but true
extraordinarily well directed childrens drama,that's perfect for grown ups,too.Siri Neal is an accomplished young actress and its all very eerie,spooky and sinister and pacy.Coming from a time when kids tv was actually quite good..
I love this series. Siri Neal is fantastic. I visited Belton House last year. What a fantastic experience. I saw the Moondial and Teddy Larkins grave, thats Tom short for Edward, and Belton Church. Anyone know what Siri is doing now. Lots of love, Minty x.

I always thought the boy playing the character of Tom was cute! I wonder what he looks like now? I have seen an interview with him on the website called Little Gem. Search for it!
I'm sure that there was back then as equal a balance of quality and crap on kids' TV as there is now.

I get it now!! Tom is from suntime (daytime) and Sarah is from moontime (nighttime)! I will soon get my hands on the novel. I can't wait to read it.
