The woman was out of line. She was off topic and had lost the floor and violated the rules of order. The mayor and Mr. Husch were clearly agreed on that.

IF HE WANTS A PERSONAL LIFE HE NEEDS TO STOP BEING A PUBLIC OFFICIAL. SEE? THAT JUST PROVES THAT PUBLIC OFFICIALS INVOLVED WITH THE TEA PARTY WOULD IMPLEMENT A DICTATORSHIP IF THEY EVER GET TO OFFICE. AS LONG AS HE HOLDS A PUBLIC OFFICE HIS LIFE IS PUBLIC BUSINESS. HE GOT MAD BECAUSE THIS LADY EXERCISED HER RIGHT TO STATE HER OPINION. THAT LITTLE DICTATOR OFFICIAL WAS WRONG, HE NEEDS TO LEARN MORE ABOUT CIVIL RIGHTS NOT DICTATOR'S RIGHTS.

There is irony oozing from his mouth. How can he scream about his right to freedom of speech as he silences her as she attempts to state her opinion.
And Chairperson Husch forgets that he is a public official. No matter what he's doing he is a representative of the town of Herndon. And both his participation in that rally and more over this display at a town forum was both embarressing and made me ashamed to be a member of this town.

She should have been given her 3 minutes, then they should have just said, "Thank you for your comments" and moved on. It was not personal, but it was political. If Miller was a conservative, none of these people would be complaining. Husch needs to learn to roll with the punches and keep his cool. But he has a lot of passion, so it's hard for him not to take it personally. He's given a LOT service to his community, and I, for one, appreciate his dedication.

Elected officials do in fact have first amendment rights. But elected officials are also elected as representatives of their constituents. And each constituent does in fact have first amendments rights as well. It is ridiculous for government officials to refuse to here the opinion in open forum to those that they are supposed to represent.

Every voter in the town of Herndon needs to see this. And those who are eligible to vote and haven't ever voted in a town election need to make a resolution TODAY to go to the polls next May and vote these people out. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior. The Constitution guarantees everyone the right to free speech, not just those who can yell the loudest.
