*NOTE* This checks disk drive for currupted sectors. And correction of currupted sectors WILL speed up your computer. So in a way, yes, it is speeding up your computer. But technicly, no, it is'nt.
you guys believe this shit? this is the Microsoft CheckDisk utility. it checks your disk for corrupt sectors or evidence of failure/corruption. If it is cirrupted it could help, but to mist people this will not yield a performance gain!
