  • FAZ NA ERA DO HARD ROCK, HEAVY METAL E O ROCK PROGRESSIVO

    Great song... <3 RINBOW

  • How many people think this sounds like ABBA?

  • @DaveWreckingCrew YOU!!!

  • @aycoadm NO! YOU ! ! ! !

  • SOMETHING UP HIS SLEEVE WHEN HE SPEAKS YOU WANT TO BELIVE HIM

  • this is one of my favorite songs EVER

  • Magic, what a voice!

  • Joe Lynn GOD!

  • it's magic that YT deletes songs and keeps identical songs elsewhere on it's site...

  • Nice video, some people would just put up the title and the artist and just leave it at that, not you...you went to a lot of trouble and I thank you for that.

  • that is really rock, great song,

  • I agree it is a great song just like the classic Pink Floyd song TIME ,you know the one that has this first line "Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day" Magic sounds similar to me but I could be wrong and anyway most songwriting borrows from the influences that shaped the writer, and ps I liked Brian's version better than Ritchie's which was slicker but had less feel

  • I knew the guy who wrote this song, and heard it performed weekly, back in my bar going years, long before he sold the song to this band. It's good to hear it, but in my humble opinion, I liked my old buddy Brian Moran's version better. Of course I did. I used to go and sing along with his band, all the time. I had thought he did "Street of Dreams" for this band too, but I think i'm wrong about that one. :)

I'm hoping Brian is somewhere out there doing very well.

  • @lorrigrrl the newday band did it way way better imho..lions cage rocked

  • @bundlerun Hey you were there too! Cool to find someone who was actually able to witness what i'm saying here. You're so right. Newday did it waaaaaay better!

Brian was the keyboard/singer of NewDay. I was always sorry he sold his music instead of pursuing his own career in music. I really think he had the talent. Newday did this song soooooooooo much better. Those were the days huh? :)

  • @lorrigrrl brian was on here (youtube) a while back.comenting on the his song but a different posting of it ..(can't find it now) Newday was the band back then what about paul kane now there was a guitar player( met richie blackmore in chelseas one night not the most friendly guy but great performer ..ever go to sparks?

  • @bundlerun How long ago was Brian here? I haven't been able to find him. :/

I remember the Chelsea & Sparks days. Omg...what great memories.

I recall being familiar with how unfriendly Richie Blackmore was too, and I saw him around but I never met him. I remember Paul Kane, yep.

  • @lorrigrrl brian was here maybe a year ago but as i said he was on another posting of this song & thanked everyone for their comments there were other lions cage alum on there also (tried with no luck to find it a few times i stumbled on this one) anyway were out here.. would love to see a newday video wonder if there even is one?? so long ago maybe nobody even had a camera back then....

I did post a year or two ago, to a girl who loved the song and wondered how it came to pass that Rainbow recorded it, so I told her the story and haven't really checked back again till tonight.
